Tuffa Dubs records are proud to present our very first Artist EP, featuring our long time brethren from London city El Fata. 
Since our very first 7” release named “Tell them again” we have been bringing together our trademark digital sound with the amazingly sweet and unique vocals of the highly talented and unmistakable El Fata. We have been working hard in the studio and live on stage perfecting our cool and deadly combination which has been tried and tested in many of Europe’s biggest dancehall sessions.
“ Dancehall Style” takes you on a journey through many different styles of digital reggae, including four brand new vocal tracks and two exclusive dub mixes.
The opening track of the EP is named “Revolution Time” . El Fata delivers a message of consciousness and positivity in this time of uncertainty for many. The riddim has a real dubwise feel and is sure to push any bass speaker to the limit . The following track is “Revolution Time Dub” a dubbed out instrumental version guaranteed to nice up the roots dance and mash down the walls of Babylon. Last up on side A is “Super Lover”. El fata drops some beautifully laid back vocals on top of our high energy digital casio riddim giving the track a unique and exciting feel to get any dancehall rocking and all the ladies dancing.

First up on side B is a new take on our previously released “Inspector Gadget” riddim, made famous by King Generals hit tune “Digikal”. El Fata smashes the "Dancehall Sweet" track with nothing but pure niceness and good vibes showing the world why he is one of the UK’s hottest and favourite dancehall talents. An earth shaking dub mix follows. Rich in reverb and delay our fresh new mix is set to rock up every party in town.
For the grand finale we have laid down our own version of the classic Jah Tubby's riddim named “Pure Worries” . “Champion sound” is a supercharged dancehall killer for all the soundboys and soundgirls guaranteed to mash up any session from Scotland to Tokyo.

The “Dancehall style” EP features amazing hand drawn art work and will available late October 2013 on 12” Vinyl and all digital formats.

Sleepy Wolf is a duo consisting of Karin Bettley (vocals) and Sam Benge (guitar and backing vocals). All the songs are written by Karin while Sam develops the musical arrangements. Their sound is made unique by Karin’s soulful and timeless voice as well as Sam’s rich textured guitar playing (he has a performance degree in classical guitar).

Sam is the guitarist on Eightfold's album "Bright Colours", also released on Monkey Records and Karin previously featured on the track "So Sweet" by Cinema 90.

Cashier was born in Raglan, New Zealand,roamed about for some time and is currently back in Raglan for a short stop before roaming on. Was an artist, painter, most of his life but a love of electronic music (and all other sorts too) has taken over.

Little People is the moniker of UK based downtempo electronic musician Laurent Clerc… He returns with his second full length album - We Are But Hunks Of Wood - a whole 6 years after his first album (Mickey Mouse Operation) was released on Illicit recordings. Whilst his debut - an accomplished ode to late 90's instrumental hip hop - has unexpectedly gone on to be in the top 30 selling album downloads on iTunes in the electronic genre in the US for the last 2 years, he is still all but unknown to most tastemakers and influential blogs shaping today's electronic music scene. Having followed an unconventional route to success - thanks to in no small part to Pandora radio generating him huge amounts of exposure - he seemingly exists outside the normal channels used to promote artists. We sense this is all about to change…

'We are But Hunks of Wood' is a sonic leap forward for LIttle People (that's the least you can expect after a 6 year hiatus between albums!) which should help establish himself as key proponent of the downtempo electronic music scene. Part beats, bleeps and real live instrumentation, this new record maybe falls in a place where Bonobo and Anders Trentemoller would hypothetically meet. Having initially come from the world of instrumental hip hop where tracks are often more akin to just sketches or interesting ideas, Laurent Clerc's pieces are fully fledged songs whose arrangements create a sense of mood and movement, effortlessly going from nuanced electronic patterns to soaring string arrangements over the course of the journey. This is no beat tape.

There are many reasons why it has taken him so long to release his follow up record - like nearly turning his back on making music and becoming the father of a set of twins… But the main reason was that he felt he had to reinvent his work methodology and write and record his tracks from the ground up. He saw sampling as tantamount to taking another man's 2 bars of inspiration and passing it off as your own. The story of the samplist making the jump to creating his own material is not new… but it isn't always a successful one. Laurent took enough time to make sure that leap was taken with aplomb.

The Riddim Tuffa Crew are an Edinburgh based duo of dj’s and producers Adham & Frontline Selecta. They have racked up appearances throughout Europe, with several festival shows and countless dancehall takeovers in the bag.
Riddim Tuffa have been hosting their own parties for a few years with a music policy that has its roots in reggae but happily embraces all the myriad forms it has inspired such as dancehall, ragga, jungle and dubstep. Previous guests have included a wide range of Mc’s [Robert Lee, Daddy Freddy, Earl 16, Kenny Knots... ] or producers like [Mungo's HiFi, Benny Page, OBF, Radikal Guru, Jahtari... ] proving their love of digital dub and its multitude of mutations.

Riddim Tuffa’s studio production is heavily influenced by the 1980′s digital style. By combining the use of vintage, analogue equipment and modern recording techniques, the crew produce an extremely fresh sound that holds on to the roots of dancehall music. Their label Tuffa Dubs records features a wide range of collaborations with Jamaican legends such as Little Kirk, Lt. Stitchie, Gosple Fish and the new generation of artists like King General, Solo Banton, El Fata and Diegojah to name a few. Since 2011 the duo have released several vinyls on their own label and their productions have featured on labels like Super Fly Records and Vibration Lab.
