The mix is a blend of new things I've made, and artists that caught my attention. Some things I was listening to in pandemic times and a few things that are very dear to me. I chose to depart from techno halfway through the mix and I got to play some music I don't usually get to play, that inspires me almost endlessly. I wanted to play with the way I mixed it and I chose to use a computer, purists be warned. But this way I can do all kinds of interesting spectral manipulation, I hope to explore this more in the future, as I felt like I only scratched the surface.

We're humbled to welcome Viscerale to the poddy archives ahead of her TM8 debut on 11th November. The Hamburg-born, Berlin-based artist knows how to command dancefloors worldwide, stealing our hearts with her fun, high-energy techno and trance grooves. Touring since 2018, Viscerale has played a starry array of spaces, spanning @etandetsted in Copenhagen—where she helms a residency—alongside Berghain/Säule, OHM, @foldldn and @about-blank-berlin, to name a few. Philipp Drube has his musical roots in the underground scene of Hamburg where he played his first gig in 2011. Two years later he moved to Berlin where he was holding a residency at Ismus from 2015 till 2020 and founded the label Space Trax with fellow Frank Heise.

His meticulous and hand-tailored sets focus on fast-paced Techno and different faces of Trance. A blend which earns him appearances at Berlin’s most established venues such as Säule (Berghain), Griessmühle/RSO, Tresor or ÆDEN and eventseries like Mala Junta or Synoid as well as several events throughout Germany, Europe, the US and Australia.
