Diverse Künstler aus den Bereichen Rock, Pop und HipHop wurden kontaktiert und beinahe jeder sagte zu. Thees Uhlmann gab seine Single mit dem verrätselten Namen "Zum Laichen und Sterben ziehen die Lachse den Fluss hinauf" frei, Tim Bendzko beantwortete seine Mail-Anfrage und ermöglichte einen entspannten Reggae-Remix von "Nur noch kurz die Welt retten".  Außerdem ließen sich viele weitere, mit ganz verschiedenen Ansätzen Musik machende Bands und Künstler wie Bosse, Revolverheld und Juli davon überzeugen, ihre Musik in ein Reggae-Gewand einhüllen zu lassen. Besonders spannend: zwei Beiträge aus der Mitte der deutschen HipHop-Szene. Marten "Marteria" Laciny stellte seine persönliche Botschaft an seinen Sohn ("Louis") zur Verfügung und Pandajunge Cro ließ seine Single "Easy" remixen.

Das Gehirn und der schlaue Kopf hinter "I Don't Like Reggae" ist Guido Craveiro. Das ist nicht irgendwer. Craveiro darf sich zu Recht als einer der arriviertesten Produzenten von Reggae, Dub und Dancehall Made in Germany bezeichnen. Frank Dellé, hauptberuflich Sänger bei Seeed, hat mit ihm sein komplettes Solo-Album aufgenommen. Selbst die ganz großen der deutschen Popmusik schwören auf Craveiro. Jan Delay bat ihn erst kürzlich seines Hit-Duetts mit Udo Lindenberg klangtechnisch aufzupolieren. Sein Ruf eilt Craveiro mittlerweile sogar bis ins Ausland voraus. Remixe für De La Soul, Mezzoforte oder Molokko manifestieren seinen Ruf als hervorragender Produzent auch außerhalb der Grenzen der Szene, in der er sich selbst verortet.
