For the 10th International Drone Day, we are very happy to share Transience's 50th contribution on Cashmere Radio. For this auspicious occassion we have invited Menou and Paul Josef to join host Lou Drago in the joy of droning. Lou begins the episode with a new work that takes elements of a recent work Still, and reimagines these components in a more narrative form to take listeners on a journey, Menou's hardware synth live set comes next, full of emotion and enthralling the listener before landing in a Japanese melodic ending. Paul Josef's serene modular synth live set closes the episode with gentle swelling harmonics that leave listeners with a warm embrace.

The man in charge is Madrid-based dj Carlawer, member of the Kintsugi collective, a platform dedicated to supporting new talents and old glories of the Spanish underground scene. Our next installment is from local dub fiend Klofink, who will make his debut with a 8-track LP
on the label this fall. This live set was recorded during Fasaan’s night at the local Malmö city
festival, which saw equally fantastic live shows from Lamusa II, Decha and Milan W. The music
in this mix consists solely of new dubs made in rural Jämtland in the north of Sweden - tangy,
deep and elusive sounds on the brink between the synthetic and the organic - just the way we
like it.

Into The Abyss #045 | Anomali

Anomali is a producer and DJ from Gothenburg, focusing on deep and hypnotic techno.

After finding out how to make music with computers back in 1994, the path was clear. The electronic music revolution of the ‘90s provided endless inspiration, and soon he found a passion for house, techno, psytrance and drum & bass.

Making his DJ debut in 2002 helped him discover the creative feedback loop that both performing and producing music can lead to.

Following decades of honing his craft, throwing raves and DJing, in 2020 it was finally time to get serious. Deep and hypnotic techno felt just like home, combining influences from all of the incredible music he grew up with in the ‘90s with a modern approach to sound design.

With several remixes under his belt, and his debut EP released on Fur:ther Sessions, Anomali is off to a flying start. His mixes have been featured in platforms like Monument, KVLTÖ Records, Revelation of Sound, Indefinite Pitch, Charybdis and Cellar Door.

XIII - Ladnaday feat. Sabina Kaufman

Wouldn't be right to not upload some of the incredible resident sets we had on over the years and this is a really special one from Luke for a few reasons.
Firstly it was the last one he played at Plex before embarking on a ROW trip and secondly it's probably one of the best I have ever heard him play over the many years we were doing parties together. The energy is unreal. 

The fact that it starts with Magneze tells you all you need to know in where this is going to go and somehow he crams in so many floor favourites into this 1hr onslaught that went down in room 2 at around 4am. It is an absolute tear up from start to finish with Luke doing very much Luke things on the decks that night. I don't think I had ever seen him that animated when playing and that is saying something for those that know!

I was very lucky to have Luke as a partner in crime over all those years we were doing Plex and it's a pleasure to share this amazing mix now with you all which was recorded at Plex's 10th Birthday with Bleed hosting room 3, hope you enjoy the ride!
