David Marc Siegel is a guitarist, songwriter, and composer hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area. He has played in rock bands (Boneless Children Foundation, El Pulpo), theater groups (Killing My Lobster, Boxcar Theater), and written music that has appeared in advertisements, promo videos, sketch comedy videos, short and full-length films, 

His compositions run the gamut from driving rockers to pensive instrumental classical pieces, and even into electronic and found-sound work. 

David was born & raised in St. Louis, MO, before moving to the SF Bay Area. Raised on novelty music, comedy, and imaginative animated works from throughout the 20th century, David enjoys bringing a wry, dark sensibility to his musical work. This sensibility, combined with his strong background in improvisation as well as his past as a student of jazz and classical theory make him an extremely engaged life-long student of what makes a song great - from the sublime and profoundly sad to the sometimes ludicrous and fantastical.

His rock band, The Boneless Children Foundation, hit #200 on the national CMJ charts in 2007. Having since disbanded, David continues writing rock and non-rock music for short films, ads, and live performance purposes.
