Igor Semerling belongs to a wave of young Tricity players. Another bro connected with a Gdańsk club "Crackhouse" who knows how to shake the audience by connecting various genres into a beatiful entirety. 
"Your local groove dealer", new manager of the club, photographer, IGGY. Comes from Gdynia but, deeply connected with Gdańsk. 
Last year, he have been performing as SMR, taken from his surname. Despite changing the name, his sets are still full of juicy suprises.

Igor Semmerling należy do młodej fali graczy z trójmiejskim rodowodem. Kolejna poczciwa mordeczka związana z gdańskim Crackhouse'em która wie jak poruszyć publiczność -swoją umiejętnością do łączenia różnorodnych gatunków w piękną całość. Your local groove dealer gdańskiego podwórka, nowo upieczony manager klubu, po godzinach fotograf, IGGY. 
Choć pochodzi z Gdyni, bliżej mu do oddalonego kilkadziesiąt kilometrów Gdańska. Jeszcze w zeszłym roku podpisywał się jako S M R (od nazwiska). Pomimo zmiany aliasu jego sety wciąż pełne są soczystych niespodzianek. Mała namiastka muzycznych zbiorów Igora w niniejszym podcaście. Za wizytówkę swojego muzycznego „ja” serwuje sety pełne – groove, ale także deep, raw i break, czy trance.

The reissue of classic and seminal releases from the Tresor catalogue comes round to Waveform Transmission Vol. 2 by "The Vision" aka Robert Hood which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. 

Released in the same year he left UR and his hometown of Detroit, Waveform Transmission Vol. 2 represents a pivotal moment in Hood's career as his move to New York with fellow UR co-founder Jeff Mills led to Hood experimenting with a new work ethos through which he settled on his trademark sound. 

Fast, aurally assaulting, yet funky - the release is techno as effective as it can possibly be; in this version, remastered by Thomas P. Heckmann, we see the first results of his transmutation as Hood manipulates the raw sounds he would soon distil into seminal works like Internal Empire and Minimal Nation. 

Ever philosophical and spiritual, in the sleeve notes for the release Hood dedicated the release "to the form of simplicity[,] the reasoning of vision[,] the understanding of where we came from and how we got here and to the perspective we use to construct over destiny" - words which from our early 2020s vantage point almost foresee the influence this intuitive work would have on artists working from Birmingham to Berlin and beyond over the next three decades.

The Vision - Weapons

Tim Haida is a DJ based in the small town of Marburg. He tries to keep the timeless old school sound of Techno alive as he thinks it’s the most effective on the dancefloor to keep your hips moving. With this classic style of Techno he tries to push the local Scene forward and wants to create a counterbalance to the modern Hardtechno music that dominates the clubs recently. In addition to that he is playing vinyl only as its the most natural way for him to blend between more well known classics and the underground side of Techno.
Although he is more known for a full on tribal influenced style with loads of percussions and an ongoing high energy level, the selection for his new podcast features only slight hints of tribal elements. This time he starts off with some darker techno grooves, staying more on the club orientated and technical side. Halfway through the mix he „breaks“ off into a more melodic mood consisting of trance and ghetto influenced elements to raise the energy while still keeping the groove alive. He ends his set with a endless feeling classic to round off this one hour journey through a small part of his record collection.
