We've decided to divert the profits from the night to charity – it's something we've been wanting to do for ages, but economic factors of recent times have always been an obstacle to that goal. As we won't need to support future events, it made sense for us to do it now! We have selected to support the League Against Cruel Sports as it's a matter that's close to our hearts that doesn't get a lot of media attention – and every penny we donate WILL make a difference.

Providing you with a collection of tracks that define the sound of one of the norths longest running underground nights, some of the pioneers of our scene have created a diverse selection of music guaranteed to set the dance floors alight.

Off the back of what will probably be our last regular event we present to you the inaugural digital release of the Riff Raff album. The physical album release was a huge success and was compiled to provide a real flavour of the Riff Raff hard dance sound. It features 10 previously unreleased tracks from major artists including D.A.V.E. the Drummer, DJ-X (Lab4), Chris  Liberator & Sterling Moss, A+D+A+M Lab4, Ben Fraser, Glowbones, Jersey & Dave Curtis, Selkirk, Oly NRG and Ben Atomgrinder. 

Riff Raff Recordings has been set up to provide a musical outlet for our Leeds based underground dance events. The hard dance club nights have been running since the year 2000, with a focus on a the genres of hard trance, acid-techno, NRG and even a bit of psy-trance. Headline acts have included LAB 4, Proteus, D.A.V.E. the Drummer, Andy Farley, Chris Liberator, Ed Real, Mark EG, Paul Glazby and Marc Johnson to name just a few. It has become one of the North's most successful hard dance events, providing a fantastic alternative to the mainstream clubbing experience. The label was set up by resident DJ/producer Glowbones to showcase the sound of the night and as a platform for Riff Raff artists and performers to promote their music to a wider audience. 

We are happy to welcome on board our new label manager Anna K. Her label Orrible Noize with 30+ releases has been a massive success over the last 2 years setting the standard of banging underground hard dance and NRG. 

As we enter a new phase of the Riff Raff institution you can expect to hear many more releases from the likes of Glowbones, Oly NRG, Anna K, Ben Atomgrinder and other artists pushing the trademark underground alternative Riff Raff sound.   


Kranzinger is a 29 year old Dj & Producer from Salzburg / Austria. He found his love for electronic music and Techno back in 2011. Later this year he got in touch with the organizer of the old Cave-Club Salzburg, who recognized his talent and gave Kranzinger the chance to play on several parties and bigger events. 

He learned more and more about the scene, kept practicing and developed his unmistakable and unique style, which is a mix of impulsive basslines, aggressive kicks and hi-hats with a dash of acidlines. In one word: FORWARD! 
With his positive vibes and excitement for the music he learned to control the crowd and their emotions in order to lead them through the night and give them an unforgettable time at the club. 

Expanding internationally in 2012 Kranzinger played on bigger and bigger stages ranging from the “Hafen” in Innsbruck at the Psybox-NYE event, or the Psytrance Festival near Lisbon to recording podcasts for radio stations in both the Netherlands and France. Kranzinger signed with his brother´s (Rene Reiter) Label “Carbon Audio Records” and played alongside big names like Sterling Moss, Dave the Drummer and Patrick DSP for four years. 

After launching his career so successfully, big things were expected, especially when he met the well-known organizer Bianca Veseley. Right after hearing him for the first time, she booked him for a gig in the brand new Club “Kantine” in his hometown Salzburg which had just newly opened in this year. Due to the positive feeback from the audience he became indispensable for the club and works there as a Resident-DJ from September 2017 till Februars 2019.
In 2018 he played on one of the biggest Festivals in Austria called „Electric Love Festival“!

He shared the stage with big names like Enrico Sangiuliano, Reinier Zonneveld, Egbert, Secret Cinema, Anthony Rother, Björn Torwellen, Niereich, Johannes Heil, Format:B, Chris Nait, Patrick DSP, Karotte, Anna Reusch, Sutter Cane, Droplex, Alex Bau, Niereich, Cortechs, Goncalo M, Pet Duo, Irregular Synth, Florian Meidl, Marika Rossa, Jan Fleck, Pappenheimer, Tea Vuckovic and many more.

Oly NRG Riff Raff Resident Dj

Oly NRG Began his dj career at the famous parlez-vous? in 2002. Bangin’ it at a secret location in Bradford Oly impressed crowds and promoters alike with his
progressive, varied and chunky sets and did regular gigs there in 2002/2003. In 2004 Oly discovered Riff Raff. He immediately found a place within the club with his love for mixing techno, hard trance, psy-trance and banging hard dance. 

Now in his 9th year as Riff Raff resident Oly’s solid mixing and varied style has taken
him from London to Lancaster playing at some of the best underground hard dance,
techno and psy-trance parties in the country including: Riff Raff (Leeds), Killertrax (Leeds), Kulu (Bradford), parlez-vous? (Bradford), Requiem (London), Remedy (Leeds), Sunshine Galaxy (Huddersfield), Noggins (Sheffield), Solar (Lancaster), Shamania Festival (Lancashire), Quake Soundsystem (Leeds) + many more club nights, festivals &amp; free parties across the north of England!

With over 15 years spent living for the weekend and following the music up and down the country – from super-club to warehouse, from boat to house-party – Ollie Stockton has been fortunate enough to witness the very best that the hard-dance nation has produced and had it leave an imprint smack across his frontal lobes. Finally taking up the call of the decks in the back end of 2010, Stockton set to converting his years of glowstick-pumping-avin'-it-mayhem at the front of the crowd into an audio format – a process that came to fruition in June 2012, making his début at Leeds' legendary Riff Raff. He hasn't looked back since and currently sits as the resident-in-chief at Aftermath (http://www.facebook.com/aftermathleeds), aiming to nuture and develop the hard dance scene in the North first and foremost, and across the UK as a whole.
