To participate in the Haiku Music challenge:

- Make a song in response to the weekly assigned poem (a new poem is published every Wednesday)
- When choosing a title for your piece also include the assignment number, for example “Title of your track (naviarhaiku382)”

To submit your track:

- If you’re a Soundcloud user, upload it on Soundcloud and send me the URL via private message, or tag me in the track.
- If you upload your music on Youtube, Bandcamp or anywhere else, upload your submission and then send me the link by email at marco@naviarrecords.com or contact me on X, Facebook or Instagram

This is my response to this week's @naviar-records haiku music challenge. Here's the details about that:

"cloud and mist alike
rendered unnoticeable –
bright moon tonight!"

Inawashiro Kensai (1452-1510) was a Japanese poet of the Muromachi period. He was a student of the famous renga poet Shinkei.

Sentimental Insects (NaviarHaiku603)

Daydreaming through the dark times.

A song of daydreaming trying to forget your stress but it's always there as a slow building constant.

A happy accident but if you loop this track it flows perfectly into itself lol. 

Updated the track 1st August 2025 with a fresh mix and added acoustic guitar work. Also added some subtle ambient percussion and some vox for depth.
