Blunderphonics is both a tribute and play on John Oswald's Plunderphonics from the 80s and 90s. The "Blunder" part comes from a band I was in years ago, The Blunder Children (taken from the movie Tape Heads). When we broke up, I began using the handle Blunder. 

Like many of you, I use a wide variety of music in my mixes: rap, indie rock, punk, metal, jazz, avant-garde, drones, electronica, and so forth. 

Influences: John Oswald, Negativland, Steinski, Christian Marclay, Mr. Dibbs, Serge Gainsbourg, Tom Waits, Beck, John Zorn, Bob & Ray, Firesign Theatre; this list can go on and on.

I sample with fondness and respect for the original artists.

My heart has always been in House music. An extensive collection of vinyl has been built up since the early 1990’s and as technology and genres have developed I too have evolved and continued my dedication to the scene 

Purely due to my knowledge and passion for House music I was approached in Dance 2 Records in Guildford and given the opportunity to host my own 4 hour show on NJOI FM and 2 hour show on KANE FM for over a year; playing alongside the likes of Sub Focus and Red One of Ram Records amongst others

Through contacts made during this period I went on to promote and run my own club nights; with Richard Dinsdale and Mutiny as headlining acts and playing alongside me

Playing at many clubs across the UK and South Africa over the past 10 years, I have built my profile in the industry

The privilege of experiencing many angles within the music industry along with legendary clubbing experiences spanning more than 20 years has given me a sixth sense of just knowing what works on the dance floor.

I am have just landed the residency for the Blacklight Run UV events....You can catch me playing across the UK this year at huge events, with crowds of 4-6000.
