Die Aufnahme entstand am 27.06. zwischen 20:00 und 22:00 Uhr auf der Turmbühne des Fusion Festivals in Lärz. Danke an Hannah Hermann für die Aufnahme! Da so viele von Euch nach dem Set gefragt haben, lade ich es hier hoch - auch wenn nichts den zauberhaften Moment mit über zwanzigtausend friedlich feiernden Menschen auf den Wiesen und den Hügeln ersetzen kann. Solche Erinnerungen bleiben für immer und werden ewig in uns leuchten, uns erfreuen, uns erhellen.

Nach 17-jähriger Abwesenheit war es ganz wunderbar, diesen so wertvollen Ort der Utopie wiederzuerleben. Ein Ort, an dem Menschen wieder wirklich mit sich und ihren Mitmenschen in Resonanz treten. Ein Ort, an dem aus einer egozentrierten Umwelt wieder eine Mitwelt entstehen kann. Ein Ort, an dem getanzt und das Leben zelebriert wird – nicht aus Trotz, sondern als Antwort. Ein Ort, an dem verstanden wird, dass kollektives Feiern kein sinnloser, hedonistischer Eskapismus ist, sondern der soziale Klebstoff unserer Gesellschaft. Ein Ort, an dem nicht geurteilt und verurteilt wird, an dem man versteht, wie wichtig Vielfalt ist und dass sie ein uraltes Grundprinzip zum Erhalt des Lebens ist. Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt und werde wiederkommen, wahrscheinlich schneller als in 17 Jahren.

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re looking back on the year and dreaming ahead. Reflecting on the past, one memory still makes us smile — and without it, this podcast episode might not even exist.

Years ago, at a house party thrown by one of our label founders, a sudden knock on the door sparked the usual fear of a noise complaint in the early morning hours. But this is Berlin after all. Instead of the police, a few friendly neighbors stood outside, loving the music and asking to join the dance. One of them was Scoopsi, who now helps us wrap up this year’s podcast season in style.

Shaped by a classically trained upbringing in Montréal, Scoopsi has been orbiting music since childhood. Now six years in Berlin, she channels that lifelong pull into refined, groove-forward sets—where stripped-back House and Techno meet subtle flashes of jazz, hip-hop, and funk.

A resident of Zapped Records, she’s graced iconic rooms like Hoppetosse, Kater, Sisyphos, and Watergate, as well as festivals from 3000Grad to Mit Dir. Whether curating intimate gatherings or steering late-night dance floors across continents from Asia to North America, and beyond; Scoopsi brings an effortless elegance and a deep, rolling swing that keeps the crowd right where she wants them—floating with love.
