Originally from Marseille, with enormous talent and a career at its best, Hemka arrives at ANAØH presenting Naboris, an EP that shows her most groovy, forceful and classic side.

Clear, blunt techno with a real sound, refined,  hypnotic,  dance music. Clean but overwhelming kicks, tom structures that support the load of low frequencies, as well as fine and complex melodic lines, all this accompanied by classic hats and rides, noisy, direct, PURE TNT!

There was only one way to round off the release, to make it a perfect and timeless piece of techno.
A remix with the elegance that only someone like the Dutch Tripeo could deliver. Giving a logical continuity to the release, He has worked on a remix in a classic, forceful and elegant musical line, at times romancing the wonderful Detroit sound, but with touches of the future. Percussions of the TR909 make us think that nothing else is necessary to breathe techno in its most pure!

After a recent appearances in labels such as Trip, RSPX, DCLTD, Odd Event & Mindtrip, The acclaimed Spanish producer Flug taking over the fourth instalment of his Barcelona Based up and coming label "Existentia Music".

The four tracks EP, signatured with the artists remarkable production quality, marked one of his best releases to date.

The first track, "Hypenoarance," is a faithful reflection of the evolution of contemporary techno sound; a minimalist piece that carries a powerful rhythmic and mental charge despite its simplicity in elements. Following suit, "Destination Unknown" masterfully blends percussions with a strong bassline, offering a complete sonic progression. "Answers," the third cut, delves into a mental flight, characterized by melodies and pads that seamlessly blend with the classic sounds of the TR909 and TR808 drum machines. Finally, "Slow Down" stands out as the most distinctive cut of the EP. According to Flug, this project was rescued from his old archives and stands out for its minimalist approach, true to his style.

Shlomi Aber drops his latest ‘Limelight’ EP on CLR this February. He kicks things off with title track,‘Limelight’, a boomy kick drum setting the pace while fizzing synths light up the airwaves, spoken words bringing a sci-fi feel to this strobe-lit classic. Aber then drops a broken mix of ‘Limelight’, scuffing the kicks and bringing a raw funk feel already picked up by the likes of Radio Slave, Josh Wink, Dave Clarke, Alienata, and more. , another versatile package of quality Techno cuts.

Founded by influential techno lynchpin Chris Liebing in 1999 and reemerging in 2021 after a five-year hiatus, Create Learn Repeat (CLR) has hosted a range of artists, including Dubfire, Flug, Bjarki, DJ Dextro, and more. It has also focused on developing newer acts in the scene, such as Risa Taniguchi, The Southern, and Klint.

Flug - The Collection Quartz [QRZ LP001]

Having carved out a lane truly his own in the often harshly competitive world of techno, Argentinian-born / Barcelona-based producer Sebastian Lopez, alias Flug, has long proven to be no bit player in the scene and his compositions have kept signalling a fighting fit producer, whose highest standards of floor skippering and experimentation-friendly approach have never failed him over the years. Resurfacing three years after the drop of his debut vinyl album, 'In Safe Hiding', Flug clocks in on Quartz Rec with 'Flug I - The Collection' - a long-player bound to reconnect fully with the club and produce very energetic tracks that represent the techno he loves playing during his DJ sets. All tracks were originally written on tour, on the plane or in hotel rooms to better capture the dancefloor's vibe, using field recordings from around the globe and later processed in the studio via his analogue arsenal of preference.
 
Displaying the many octaves of his craft through great spreads of high-impact club engineering and frenzy-whipping mechanics, Flug takes us on a pulsating ride across the history of dance music - taking cues from Detroit's own cosmo-telluric tramplers from back the Underground Resistance armada's heyday, the Roman scene's classic acidulous four-to-the-floors, Berlin's big-room-busting DNA, dredged with a hint of dubby exploratory manoeuvres a la Maurizio. Both mineral in strength but liquid in its flowing abilities, Lopez's newest extension into the deep and intricate realms of club music collages without pastiching, extracts without bleeding dry, forming the backbone to an assortment of cuts that shall awake the restless dancer in you with optimal effect.
 
If tracks like the lushly verbed-out 'Ephos' and 'Sequences From The Black Basement' perhaps best define the track collection's overall headspace, merging Flug's trademark melodic shine with further obliterating rhythms that are sure to lay absolute waste in their wake, others like 'Mars' and 'Hyperventilation' go straight for the jugular with their deadly mix of paced-up martial rhythmics and elliptical grooves gone amok. Just as easy steering the focus into further leftfield-friendly horizons, like on the droney 'Ratio', via the freaky acid-popping of 'Box In A Box' and ambitious width of scope of 'A Different Choice', Lopez delivers something of a life-affirming message with this choice selection of club-oriented delicacies; drawing as much inspiration and energy from the dancefloors Flug got to become intimate with, as he intends to reflect such inspirational forces and energies across the rooms.
