“In the Immensity of Time" — as it is titled — tells the story of a celestial odyssey, a collision of mind against heart in the vastness of space, a light glimpsed in the deepest darkness. Through sound, Binaryh captures the moment when two becomes one, in the simplest of ways.

This EP is a dual tale told from two sides, starting off with Sagan and its rhythmic energy. Like a searchlight, the track wanders through foreign sounds and deep percussions, building euphonic momentum and seeking harmony in the void. The answer to this burning call comes through the track Druyan, which beautifully glides between a floating sense of peace and high-intensity peaks, with rolling waves of hard-hitting bass tying them together. 

Like their brilliant namesakes (Carl Sagan & Ann Druyan), these two tracks work in tandem to find meaning in nothingness, orbiting around each other in a frenzied dance. Citizen Kain’s remix of Sagan comes to complete this stellar narrative with a resounding sign-off. The vibrating, haunting track brings the EP to an end with a dark undertone and a driving tempo that unfolds with purposeful tension…

SHADED returns to SCI+TEC for the first time this year, with his latest EP 'Yoyoyo'. No stranger to the label with a steady stream of hits since 2012, his last EP on Dubfires imprint was back in 2015 with 'Electric Auto Pitch'.

The southern Cali producer always brings his trademark funkiness to his unique techno productions and this EP doesn't fail to get you moving.

'Yoyoyo' comes out swinging for the dance floor with full force, and does not disappoint. This powerhouse of a jam comes laced with heavy percussive zest, finely tuned synth work, and a booming vocal hook that locks you in and takes you over.

'Touchfade' follows, and showcases his effortless ability to turn experimental synths into groove-laden rhythms. From the dark and sensual female vocals to the modulating frequency ranges, this tune is literally a trip into the wild realm of some planet Mars disco mansion.

'After Eyes' rounds out the EP, taking the energy levels down a notch and into the one and only realm known as the after hours. Laced with tripped out vox and synth patterns, this heady track twists and tangles its way on to the dance floor in true underground style.

Following the internationally celebrated release of their debut album The Signs Within in 2017, burgeoning Japanese techno duo Drunken Kong look to kick off a brand new decade in emphatic fashion, with the release of their eagerly-anticipated sophomore long player, Where We Start.

Out now via Christian Smith's esteemed Tronic Music imprint, Where We Start marks the second full-length opus from the Tokyo-based outfit, whose impressive catalogue of unique techno productions have also been homed by the likes of Terminal M, Octopus Recordings, Stil Vor Talent and Session Womb to name a few.

Featuring a total of sixteen diverse cuts, including thirteen brand new Drunken Kong originals, two recent collaborations with Mainz-based outfit Teenage Mutants and one exclusive new collab with Tronic head honcho Christian Smith, Where We Start is Drunken Kong's most extensive body of work to date, and goes a long way in showcasing the inexhaustible creativity of one of the most prolific double acts in techno right now. It’s time to bridge some gaps… AMPERS&ND is a brand-new label from the currently unstoppable UK techno duo OC & Verde. The latest venture in their meteoric rise since breaking through in 2016 as BBC Radio 1 Pete Tong's “Ones to Watch” – With the duo enjoying support from across the board from Solomun to Adam Beyer – the label promises to be an exciting new platform for the Manchester act. “Since we set out working together as OC & Verde we’ve always aimed to incorporate influences from both of our musical backgrounds into our own productions so that our music is very unique to us and through doing that we think we’ve developed our own signature sound,” they explain. “We have found ourselves bridging that gap between the deeper, groove ridden melodic side of techno to the harder more driving sound.” The label launches with ‘Only Human’, an undulating slab of rolling acid that’s at once restrained yet juggernaut-like in its power and weight. It’s a perfect fit for that vital playground between deeper and harder techno sounds OC & Verde have made home. “Finding ourselves in this middle lane is where we see our AMPERS&ND label standing musically,” they tell us. “It’s about bridging gaps and bringing things together. 'Empty Soul' opens the EP with pulsating epic synths and hints of euphoria, before things get dark and acidic with 'Deconstruction'. Track three 'Aryon' has a twisted melody reminiscent of UMEK's classic track 'Gatex', and closing the EP is a cinematic intro intro mix 'Deconstruction'.
