We Are The Brave is now a label firmly on the electronic music map, with the huge success of its debut single “We Do What We Want” from Alan himself, they have since followed up with a selection of dance floor beasts from Boxia, Darius Syrossian, Skober and a special remix from the late Trevino.

The labels 10th release comes straight out of Scotland, as Gary Beck makes his debut on WATB with “Just One More”. Gary is no stranger when it comes to producing true underground techno, but the title track on this release is also accompanied with a standout vocal which some might not expect.

Finishing off the package “Round My Place” has a mechanical vibe to it, powering some dark eerie synth horns with a distinctive, clever hook in classic Gary Beck style. Alan has been hammering this one out in his sets since April, safe to say its been a hit!

With more than 20 years of releases under its belt, Tronic stands to remain a firm techno favourite for its fans with a steady stream of outstanding releases, including its 13 artist albums, which includes Kaiserdiscos forthcoming debut LP on Tronic this November.

Another Dimension displays the duos direction in the production of late, stripping back to their 90s techno roots, with a more dirty, unique and timeless sound. They felt that they have reached another dimension in the studio and this new wave of creativeness formed the basis for the new album.

Compiled by 11 original true techno tracks, each with their own unique elements, we start with the beatless intergalactic arpeggiation opener Vanth, to the more punchy, linear and low-end rumblers like Varuna, Eris and Orcus, creating warehouse-like, gritty textures and sounds.

A glimpse into their more subtle, down tempo and melodic approach, Hydra, Hauma and Sedna offer a hypnotic incorporation of futuristic soundscapes, something which is dominant through the entire album. 

Since their last hit EP Knocking Echoes with Karotte, the guys have teamed up again with him to create the only collaboration track on the album, Namaka. Dark and brooding textures in a low-end mood, accompanied by heady synth work.

The track names some NASA fans may recognize, as they were named after planets within Kuiper Belt, another solar system within our universe. A theme which has transpired into the artwork, as well as a new dimension or era, the duo have entered during the making of this LP in the last year.

Kaiserdisco, Karotte - Namaka (Original Mix) [Tronic]

We continue our special 25 Years remix series with another inspiring classic cut from the archives. This time Crocy gets to grips with the fantastic Scorpia from Belgian DJ and producer (and legend) Marco Bailey. This 1996 gem was Marco's first foray into the Bonzai world. A pumping instant classic that rocked out many venues in its day. With its distinct Bonzai sound, this one slotted beautifully into many sets, easily crossing over the techno/trance boundary. The original release also included three other top notch cuts Tyrex, Bambu and Sunbeam which made for a very desirable must-have-track. On the remix we find one of modern day Bonzai's most prolific artists - Crocy. This guy has given us a plethora of quality cuts over the years and is an integral part of what the Bonzai sound represents today. He began his musical career back in 1992 when he was attending musical school in his hometown. He played the accordion for seven years and travelled through different genres of music, which influences his performances even now. An experienced DJ, Crocy embraced the digital world and all the possibilities it brings while holding on to his analogue past. His many years as an artist are evident in his tracks and sets and his last outing for Bonzai Progressive - Passion - tells that tale.

On the remix Crocy gives us his progressive twist on a retro sound and the result is this stunning slice. The intro boasts a nice and chunky kick drum offset by crispy hi hats and shuffling percussions. A gritty synth bass lurks which is joined by mesmeric pads and a rising melodic arp. The main bassline drops and the track lifts off settling us into the solid progressive groove. On the break we are treated to a dosing of those superb synths and the classic Scorpia melody that made the track so famous. The original sounds are recreated beautifully in a contemporary style, this gives the track a timeless feel which would work perfectly in any set. A definite must have track for the veterans and the up-and-comers alike.

SCORPIA - CROCY REMIX

Marco Bailey - Scorpia (Crocy Remix) [Bonzai Progressive]

<p>After Thomas Evans&#8217; &#8216;Glassy Session&#8217; album release a few months ago it&#8217;s finally time for a remix treatment. Skober is up first with his melodic interpretation of &#8216;Acidatlantic&#8217; while Mario Ochoa takes on &#8216;Bitch is Back&#8217; adding a more sinister approach with menacing synths going through the entire track.<br />
Matt Sassari is next offering non less than a stomping and swinged-out bass followed by a hypnotical synth and vocal for &#8216;In The Soup&#8217;, and last but not least, Trunkline closes this grandiose EP in his unique style with his aspect of &#8216;Backdoor&#8217;.</p>

We welcome Germany's Andre Crom for his first release on Tronic. He has already been on our radar for quite some time and we are really happy that he delivered a single for us. This release comprises two peak time, no-nonsense, techno tracks. Been tested many times with great reactions on the floor. In addition, we have drafted in Frenchman [ Wex 10 ] for remix duties. Overall a great package!
