Maka
I try to keep a vision just for peace and love and sanity, but when you see the world all I see is fucking anarchy. The devil walks among us but I hide cause I'm a drifter. Don't want to be a square so I am a shape shifter, to try to stand out from the crowd, with my musical potion, but at times I feel I'm just another fish in the ocean. I'm not trying to impress the world with my lyrical prowess; I'm just working for a better life; I'm putting in the hours. I use my gift of writing to help conceive my wonderland My body keeps on moving but my mind is still in sunderland I’m trying so hard; I just want to be good but when my halo falls, well, I wear this hood like Dickens before me, writing things that are true. Instead of picking pockets, pick a mind or two! Have you seen the gates of heaven? Then music is the way through; cause even the apostles wrote a verse or two .

One Day- Trix-C, Maka, R'ILL Effect

We are two Brothers from Albuquerque New Mexico, Joseph Zamora aka Cope & Matthew Zamora aka Ruin make the group R'ILL Effect.

It's been quite the journey for Joseph Zamora and Matthew Zamora, brothers, to get where they are today. Growing up in poverty, the two brothers often found themselves in and out of trouble, whether it be school, or mischief, it seemed it was always something. Music came naturally, as the family they come from is creative and artistic. Music emerged as a constant source of relief from reality for both of them and they found their true passion was writing and recording songs which, for the most part, held a positive message. They started rapping in 2003. At times they would find themselves in somewhat odd circumstances while recording, as they were still novices and were in desperate need of a sound booth. Eventually they completed the sound booth and studio that they needed and started spending more time recording. Music intervened at a crucial point in their lives; in the midst of chaos, it was a way to focus their energy. At first Joseph recorded alone, while Matthew formed a group with a mutual friend, Josh Martinez. In 2009 the three of them recorded several tracks together and formed the group BKWG but ultimately, due to creative differences, split up. In 2014, Joseph and Matthew reunited to create the group, R'ILL Effect.
