WINTI DANSI 

WINTI is a spiritual belief which lives under the six ndyuka tribes in Surinam. The dancers prepared their bodies with herbs and are therefore able to dance through the fire. While doing the WINTI DANSI, it is possible for the dancer to go into a trance. The WINTI DANSI is only performed on special occasions. 

This mix is recorded with a closing state of mind. Powerful rhythmic tracks which connects me to my KRAKTI (Powerful) culture. Searching for a bit more edge while keeping consistent rhythms. A bit faster than the other NDYUKA podcasts but never fast for the sake of being fast. 

Just like a WINTI DANSI i love it when people not just hear the music but really feel it. To a point where you could close your eyes and connect with the smallest details without any effort.

This is one of my most-requested live recordings in a while! For 4 days at Fusion, ~80,000 people grow a tail and run free in the German forest. It’s what happens when uncompromising art collides with anti-capitalistic freedom. I was invited to play on Saturday night from 2:30am-4:30am on Fusions biggest stage, Turmbühne. Soundtracked by heavy, intense psychedelia, this is a story of moving everybody from the darkest hour straight into sunrise. I wanted to push people’s limits, but I also wanted it to be fun. Thank you to those still standing and especially to the Fusion crew.

@philippapacho is like a musical Swiss knife: she has exactly the right tool for every occasion, from warm-ups to peak time to wonky afters. It was a long residency at Under Bron in her native Stockholm that equipped her with those skills, and since moving to Berlin, she's gone on to make her mark across Europe playing all forms of techno. Late last year, Pacho launched her own label Phorum Records as a further extension of her sound, and she also curates tracks and parties under the Positive Source banner.

This August, Pacho joins us at Amsterdamse Bos for Dekmantel 2025 but first serves up this deeply cerebral trip into Millsian techno. It's a high-speed selection of sleek and synth-laced sounds rich in narrative, be that mind-melting urgency, more dark and moody undercurrents or a sense of cosmic unknown. Utterly timeless and effortless classic, this is techno in its most futuristic form.

Philly-born, New York-based producer and DJ Holden Federico is dedicated to reimagining techno by pushing its core elements to bold new extremes. His productions carry a driving low-end energy, rich thematic layers, and dub-infused detailing, all underpinned by grit and soul. Next episode of our podcast series is currated by Hydrangea. She got our attention since her very beginings just few years ago. The music she creates doesn't rush on tempo, so she can carefully make a tour in between the flowing soundscapes and dreamy pads. Since her birth she always was tightly connected with nature, which is her inexhaustible source of inspiration. Even though it is not a long while since the day she started to put out material, she gained respect of numerous members of the ongoing scene of deep techno and relased music on labels such as Silent Season, Annulled or the most recent Natch Elements.
Roots of our friendship are bringing us back to the year 2017, when she performed together with Milena Kriegs (Milena Glowacka) and Inner Shapes on party organized by our collective.
