Own Road is Simon Skjødt Jensen’s one-man project. Based in Copenhagen Skjødt Jensen’s music exists in a twilight space between American folk music, singer-songwriter and a nuanced psychedelica. Through the use of looping vocal effects, guitar, ukulele and more exotic instruments Skjødt Jensen’s compositions move effortlessly between anxiety, melodic beauty and otherworldly abandon. Own Road is music at once archaically familiar and utterly contemporary.
