Chill Tunes

Started this song in August then hit a major block. I started again in November but realized it just wasn't sounding god enough, so I started over and this is the product.

This song really means quite a bit to me. Not only is it my best (and longest) song, but it holds some emotions that I haven't quite been able to convey up until this point.

Thank you all so much for constantly supporting me, hopefully you'll all enjoy Saudade as much as I do <3

You, Only is a beguiling insight into the world of Turkish musician Ekin Üzeltüzenci and her debut release on Vaknar. 
The album features a series of musical tapestries which prominently include live instrumentation in tandem with Ekin’s own voice, all of which has been fed through a series of tape delays, giving the final outcome a brittle and reflective tone.

About Ekin Fil:

She was awarded "Best Original Film Music" for her first Soundtrack "Kaygi" at SIYAD, 2017 and "Best Film Music" for the Soundtrack of "Korfez - The Gulf" at Türkisches Film Festival in Frankfurt, 2018.
This year she released an LP of separate songs titled KOMA on the Stockholm based imprint Possible Motive.

Energy, freedom and vibrancy, Luke Sanger has nailed that feeling with his Mountain Dance EP for Cosmic Pint Glass. 3 tracks of airy, spacious techno with euphoric tinges written in the foothills of the Pyrenees. With remixes from Jamie Paton, bringing a darker psychedelic edge to proceedings, and Møzaika taking us into the drumming circle for a furious freestyle drum workout. 

Luke Sanger aka Luke’s Anger aka Duke Slammer has got over half a hundred releases under his belt! he’s been programming his electronic groove boxes, drum machines, sequencers and synths to sing in harmony (and not so harmony) for decades. In this latest EP, Mountain Dance, we see the many facets of Sanger working together; Acid House, Ambient, Techno to create heady dance floor material.

One of the earliest tracks written for this album. Different piano parts
fight against each other to come out on top. 
Much like in a stressful relationship, both parts are as important as the other but they fail to recognize this. A third party arrives later (in the form of synthesizer & organ) to bring unity to both parts and introduce a sense of peaceful harmony.

This all inevitably comes to somewhat of an abrupt ending, fading out
leaving the listener to wonder what’s going to happen next.

Yes, I know that I had just had an exclusive track premiere a day ago, but I've got another one for you, kids, and this one is worth celebrating! As you have already read in the title of this writeup, today, I am sharing a track by Sebastian Plano and Maarten Vos who have paired for a self-release they simply titled "&." Although I can already see how the title will bring the duo unforeseen trouble [electronic media unfriendly to ampersands or HTML escape codes will struggle with the name!], the music will bring trouble to your unprotected heart, piercing its walls with the emotive, sensitive, and poignant. Argentinian cellist, composer, and producer, Sebastian Plano, is, of course, no stranger to my ears. I was very much impressed with his collaboration on Everything (Erased Tapes, 2017) with Ben Lukas Boysen; and mesmerized with his Merkury KX release of Verve in 2019. Dutch Maarten Vos is also a cellist, composer, and producer, whom I have only heard of via his collaboration with Michel Banabila on Home (Tapu, 2017). For their collaborative debut, the duo put together seven pieces after a week-long recording session, "which transcends from cello duos to counterposed piano melodies, synthesizers, and electronics." This beautifully stammering piece resolves into a liquid bliss.
