Mike Konstanty quickly appeared on Sounds of Sirin: Earth Vol. 3 compilation just to give us a hint of what to expect on his solo debut on Sirin Music — ¨Angel Hugs¨. After years of presence on the Polish musical scene, Mike focuses on authenticity and unconventionality which transformed his vision and the sound. In early 2021, Mike has launched his own label Dirty Hills Records. The debut song from the imprint appeared on British radio stations Capital Dance and Kiss Dance.

¨Angel Hugs¨ is a titled track that comes with a remix by Death on the Balcony. The duos style fuses a range of influences from Disco through to House & Deep Techno depending on the time, space and environment. Years of dedicated musical passion and an appreciation of numerous genres have lead to their sound receiving popularity across the board. Another original track ¨Shaman Dance¨ featuring Ghostman happened to get a rework by part of Sirin Music family — Jordanian alternative duo Fairplay.

The echoes of the synth move like sun rays among the dancing motes of dust over a dance floor. The bass is flexing with the botanic elasticity of a tall tree in the wind. Yet the shadows of this summer soundscape reach deep. There’s something lurking from the sharp edges of the sawtooth acid line that is digging into the groove with a pleasant punch to it. There’s something at the bottom of the simple, trancy melody. It finds full expression in the vocal... With The Devil In Us, Mollono.Bass integrates contradictory moods into a smooth groove. 1. Close To Me

Following on from his debut instalment, 'Cracked', released earlier this year, Jean René Lai returns on Stil vor Talent with his eagerly anticipated new EP, 'Close To Me'. In Lai's own admission a firm favourite amongst his own catalogue of productions, 'Close To Me' blazes with that deep, intimate fire within, elegantly bridging the gap between floor-functionality and far-reaching emotion. A minutely arranged display of Lai's many talents for crafting intensely touching melodies alongside haunting rhythms, the lead-single fringes the junction of ethereal pop, deep house and atmospheric techno on a nostalgic tip. An escapist's dream, brushing a most vivid tableau of moody ambience and piercing honesty, and elevating the listener to higher spheres of consciousness with every bar as the voice iterates its mesmerising mantra. More of a hip-swaying affair, 'OK you feel' retains that signature sense of washed-out melancholy but fleshes it out with further volatile synth-smithery and dubbed-out drum programming, sound designed and layered to subjugating effect. The result is a tune that packs both a nasty club-busting ability and that insane waves-ready pop potential, which you can't help but see taking dance floors by storm this summer and beyond.

Antrea: Could be the name of a planet from a Sci-Fi movie. A world with bazaars and temples that are reminiscent of ancient human cultures, but with holograms and all sorts of wondrous spacecrafts hovering through the air. So Antrea is a great name for an EP that sounds as huge and epic as if it really was the soundtrack for this kind of Sci-Fi movie. Even that seedy bar where adventurous aliens and space travelers from all corners of the galaxy hang out has been transcribed into sound: Four different remixes add a proper dose of transdimensional drive to the dream-like boost of the original tracks.

The sophisticated raciness of Dole & Kom is always a fascinating thing to witness. Their title ‘Samoja’ means serious business in terms of beats, bass and the resulting danceability. The playful instrumentations and afro vocal part of this title create a very musical counterpart. ‘Juniper’, their streamlined second track on this EP, follows a trajectory that clearly aims at a good time on the dancefloor while its mighty hypnotic potential remains hovering in the background like an otherworldly presence. Mollono.Bass turns the maze of your brain into the rampant thicket of a jungle. The dark green of the humid tropical air is filled with the sound of chirping insects, psychedelic vines tickle your consciousness from all sides. Driven by a groove as thick and bouncy as the ground in this primeval forest you approach the ritualist play of drums and tribal singing… and, as it goes In The Jungle, all of a sudden you’re completely lost and can’t even tell above from below. In a collaborative work with Dole & Kom we hear the dreamlike melodies of Mollono.Bass echoing through a canyon that extends between massive walls of bass frequency: Reflections is a minimalist track that draws it’s subtle yet compelling power from the whirring buzz of its individual parts.
