Born in Amman and based in Barcelona, Miramizu has always had a special connection  the golden age of hip-hop and R&B. Those influences, along with sounds from her Middle Eastern roots and her restlessness to explore electronic music, leads to an energetic journey full of attitude and playful rhythms.

We are excited to welcome Australian artist Moontide to the Earthly Measures family with his truly beautiful EP 'Dreams Within Dreams' including remixes from Kusht and ourselves.

Dreams Within Dreams is built entirely from field recordings captured in churches, temples, and other places of ritual. The EP marks Moontide's use of exclusively analog synthesisers for the drums and melodies, which respond to these recorded environments.

The work explores the acoustic properties of these intentional spaces, their reverbs, silences, and ambient textures. Each track layers these field recordings with analog synthesis, creating compositions that exist somewhere between documentation and interpretation.
