"The concept for this mix was to recreate the types of sets that I've been playing recently in small intimate nightclubs from 5am onwards. The types of places where the only purpose is to get your head down and dance. It's kind of tripped out, deep and skippy. I feel as a DJ I have many avenues I go down but this is undoubtedly my absolute favourite flavour to play.

Our goal with Body Movements is that it is representative of the full – as much as possible – spectrum of the queer community within clubbing culture. We have a broad and diverse music policy and represent a wide range of sexual identities, cultures and ethnicities." - @saoirsemusic

Operating under a cloak of mystery, the Aarhus residing DJ and producer has carved out a little niche corner with his Safe Distribution crew when it comes to making classy and well-thought-out house music - stuff that we personally keep coming back to and consider “timeless” goodness. The duo Max & Mitch have been playing records together for over 10 years now despite still being in their 20s. This coupled with running one of the most well-respected underground labels to come out of the UK in recent years, has led the pairing to have a varied & extensive record collection with knowledge & understanding of the craft well beyond their years. 


This translates into energized dancefloors across Europe, a monthly Rinse FM show, and a residency at infamous Aberdeen nightspot The Tunnels as well Glasgow’s Sub Club & La Cheetah,  the latter from which they still run their label parties. The trailblazing duo knows how to keep the dance floor pumping, transcending genres, and playing tracks with the club in mind alongside rare hidden gems only the most ardent digger can find. They play with fluidity & energy that can only be achieved by having spent thousands of hours DJing alongside each other and having a deep understanding of what makes dancefloors tick.

It’s no longer news to anyone that Australian electronic music propelled itself to international spotlight in recent years. There is an infinite array of up and coming talent emerging from down under. Amongst them are the dynamic duo of DJ Sarah and Georgia Bird, known as In2stellar, whose collaboration started in 2017. 

Their energetic sets influenced by 90s dance music, fusing gritty breaks, UK bass and proggy bass lines are a candid insight into their true selves that we are pleased to discover through this insightful conversation.
