Your 2022 Playback

It felt amazing to let myself go this way last Sunday at Sisyphos Berlin. What an incredible crowd that merged everything together to become one unique thing, under fast but yet trippy and warm beats. Many tracks were loaded into this set. It's a constant combination of different elements, external drums, loops, my own bass lines and pads through Ableton Live, with the support of my beloved MODEL1 mixer which I use to sculpt the frequencies trying my best to make it all sound as if it was one single evolving track.

The 747 tunnels overhead, breaks
the day to pieces in this little town
that's buttoned down between two fields
and quiet as the past on postcards.

The mockingbird knows other sounds.
Its calls have reason on their side,
and hunger, and knit the sky together
that has been torn by what is above.

And what is below, the eyeless mole
that feeds on bugs from sunken trees,
hears things I could not think to name,
hears nothing of the business overhead.

A glove of night cups me. I am still
in sleep, dreaming the sound of clematis
climbing, finding ways to get around
without the ears I could not do without.
