Coming off a recent release on Dirtybird and a feature in DJ Mag as 1 of 6 artists currently on the rise, Nikki Nair's mix clocks in at over 2 hours. When asked about the mix, Nair had this to say, "The music in this mix is all from the four of us who do the Teknox party in Knoxville-- Dialectic Sines, Alex Falk, Saint Thomas LeDoux, and me. Outside of doing the party together, we also all produce music and have been kind of collectively pushing each other in this. I hope that in this mix you can hear not only our individual musical signatures, but also maybe some kind of collective signature that has emerged from the creative partnership we have."
Nair has been known to traverse genres, often fusing electro, leftfield techno, breaks and UK bass. His approach is not only nuanced but ecstatically refreshing whether you're moving on the dancefloor or just zoning on your headphones. It seems Nikki Nair's legacy has only just begun and we predict many big things in the years to come.
