WARATAH is an Australian-Canadian electronic music producer based in Calgary, named after a native Australian flower known for its resilient nature and ability to thrive in the harsh Australian bush.

WARATAH is a spark that grew from long train rides and late nights during formative years listening to electronic music and trying to make sense of it all.

The name represents an overcoming of self imposed limits that we all have and taking that first step in putting your authentic self out there into the world to be judged.

WARATAH rediscovered music during the pandemic as a way to, again, make sense of it all and now is proud to have made that important first step to share his passion with the world.
