This Mash-up has a bit of a funny story around it. On 02/22/2021 I was sitting on my computer sorting through old music from 2016 and I heard Kites for the first time (or so I thought) in years. I was just completely taken aback and as blown away as much I was the first time I heard it. But I noticed something... it has a riff in it that sounds suspiciously like "Get Your Wish". Immediately I knew I had to mash them up. They're relatively the same BPM and the same key. PERFECT. So, away I went and made what you're hearing here. Then out of curiosity, (to see if it'd been done) I googled "Get Your Wish x Kites" and my heart sank. Porter himself did this mash-up during his Secret Sky set... a set I watched live. I guess subconsciously I knew and forgot, but still thought it up myself. Either way, my mash-up is slightly more consistent on Kites than Get Your Wish (being the additional element). I hope you enjoy my unique take on this (not so original) idea! ✨ (LIMITED 100 DL's ENABLED)
