This set is part of the @beatsdonor charity campaign, in which electronic music artists encourage people to register with bone marrow donor bases to save the lives of children suffering from leukemia. #beatsdonor

DJ Shnootz discovered acid techno, acid trance, hardcore, and rave parties in late ’96, bought his first set of turntables in ’98, and played a couple dozen events in the LA/southern California rave-scene between late ’99 and 2003, and then began posting mixes online a few years after that (~2008). These days, he plays the occasional party-set and posts mixes in numerous styles on his YouTube (including his favorite series, the Ambient Excursion), as well as video-reactions to all kinds of music, including acid techno, acid trance, hardcore, melodic trance, etc. He also maintains a SoundCloud channel. Chants Navajo, rituels Tibétains, cérémonies vaudou ou exorcismes en Afrique se mêlent aux sonorités électroniques dans une hybridation méditative entêtante.

Manu le Malin a proposé à Line Out Radio de diffuser ce set expérimental lors de sa récente venue au studio et nous sommes ravis de proposer cette facette rare de son approche artistique. La qualité du record initial est pas optimale mais c'est l'esprit du set qui compte.
