We’re exploring an untold chapter of the Civil Rights Movement, one that’s been overshadowed for decades by other, more well-known events. On June 9, 1964, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, hundreds of Black men, women, and children gathered at First African Baptist Church to march for equality. What happened next became known as Bloody Tuesday—a day of brutal police violence, where law enforcement, backed by deputized white citizens and Klansmen, attacked innocent protesters with tear gas, fire hoses, and nightsticks. Yet for years, this horrific event remained buried in history.

 it has grown to be one of the most popular esports titles globally, with a massive community of players and fans. Here's an overview of the game:

Gameplay
Objective: In League of Legends, two teams of five players each compete to destroy the opposing team's Nexus, which is located in their base. Teams must work together to strategically advance, fight, and take down the enemy base while defending their own.

Map: The main map used for standard gameplay is called Summoner's Rift, divided into three lanes (Top, Mid, and Bottom) with a jungle area in between. Each lane is protected by turrets and inhibitors.

Roles: Each player typically assumes one of five specific roles:

Top Laner: Solo player in the top lane, often using tanky or bruiser champions.
Mid Laner: Solo player in the mid lane, often using mages or assassins.

Late Game: Teams aim to destroy enemy inhibitors and eventually the Nexus. Securing Baron Nashor, the most powerful objective, becomes crucial.
Ranked Play and Competitive Scene
Players can participate in ranked games, where they climb a ladder of divisions based on skill, from Iron (lowest) to Challenger (highest). There are several divisions within each rank (e.g., Iron IV to Iron I, and so on).

Esports: League of Legends has a massive esports presence, with professional leagues worldwide. The most prestigious tournament is the World Championship (Worlds), held annually, where top teams from various regions compete for the title of world champion.

Teamwork and Strategy
League of Legends is a heavily team-oriented game. Success requires cooperation, communication, and a strong understanding of strategy. Players must manage minion waves, control objectives, and engage in teamfights to outmaneuver the enemy team.
