OPH is one to keep an eye on. He started his musical journey a decade ago by writing articles
about the electronic scene of his hometown, Lyon (France) and quickly started DJing.
After moving to Berlin in 2014 he became a resident of the collective Stützpunkt, allowing him to
play in clubs like Arena, Grießmühle or ://about blank.
As a vinyl collector, he shapes his sets as a showcase of his musical tastes with the purpose to
recreate emotions felt on the dancefloor. Forever in search of new sounds to play with, he sees
mixing as a form of plastic art, combining different textures and grooves to induce a state of
introspection.
Exciting projects will come to life in 2022, in the meantime let’s kick off the year with this
podcast.

Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the Berlin-based dj & producer Hurtado (Body Theory / Overstep).

Spanish artist Hurtado is based in Berlin, Germany. 
Originally from Alicante, he was first introduced to the world of electronic music at the hands of his uncle, who showed him a video of a DJ performing at a party.
Hurtado draws influences of darkness and that 90's sound from the likes of Surgeon, Regis and Chris Liebing which are prominent in his mixes.
Today we're thrilled to host this killer set traversing his dance-floor crushing sound.

Wasting Away

Sharake, the duo of Syrian musicians Yazan Alsabbagh and Saleh Katbeh, fuses traditional Middle Eastern sounds with the pulse of melodic techno. With clarinet, oud, and multilingual vocals, their music creates a bridge between heritage and innovation.

A 17h40, le vendredi 4 juillet 2015, un post Facebook de notre part, de celle d’Astropolis et de Manu, en mode « infoline » et voilà que trois heures plus tard, vous étiez 200 à fouler le goudron du port de commerce de Brest pour un set d’une heure de Manu. En mode hardcore, of course.

This month we reach the third birthday show.  And it's a special one.

I'm joined by one of my heroes, The Horrorist.  I've been a fan of Oliver under all his guises, from Temper Tantrum, Koenig Cylinders, DX-13, Dj Cybersnuff, DJ Skinhead.  I could go on.  His music was a huge influence on me.  He embodied hardcore at that time.  Uncompromising, but retaining cheek and humour.

Through The Horrorist I really discovered the darker side of techno.  Until then I was hardcore, and only hardcore.  But the new guise and Things to Come records took hardcore, slowed it down and made it different.  I was hooked again.

I could write all day about how good he is, but if you're reading this then you know that already.

This set is an education.

Recently I was making a TB-303 sample pack for 60Sounds, and this put me back in a techno mood. So after WIP01 and WIP02 had an ambient vibe, I wanted WIP03 to be for the dancefloor. “Eruption” and “Decrypt” are two tracks I made for my DJ sets, one stronger, the other more melodic. I’ve enjoyed playing them out and am happy to now share them here. Hope you enjoy WIP03!

最近、スタジオでPeter Van Housen主催の60Soundsのライブラリー（これも近々発表となります）用にTB-303のノブをいじまくっていたら自粛モードで落ち着いていた自分の中のテクノバイブスが強まっていったこともあり、WIP01&02と続いたアンビエント系から一転、WIP03はフロア向けの方向になりました。Eruptionと Decryptは、自分のDJセットの流れの中で「こんな曲をプレイしたい」という意図から制作した2曲。デモバージョンではツアーの各地現場でもなかなか良く機能することを確認済みで、ここでファイナルバージョンを共有できることを嬉しく思っています。
まだまだ気を抜けない日々が続きますが、体調等お気をつけて！

A hoard of very well known and simply stunning acts will be featuring alongside us for this venture into sound along with a whole host of very talented local music makers. Each and every set aired has been done exclusively for the show. Seriously .............. your ears won't believe it.

Each show has it's own label and these will have clanking bolts n' nuts party techno on the 'RIOT Radio Show' and a more laid back electronic approach on 'a quiet RIOT'. 

Either way, it can and will only be the best that we bring you.
