Llewellyn - a name that occasionally came across our back-catalog. But with "The Other Side Of You" a first global signal is pressed in the dip via Riotvan. Three new originals lead by Llewellyn, a moniker you might already know, an offshoot of House and wavy Disco traditions from Martin Enke aka Lake People.  With this little background information it should be obvious that you wont find clumsy claptrap or overflown sample banging here. What you get instead is a playful modesty that carries dance floors easily to peak time euphoria. 

With the first track "The Long Run" the curtain opens up for big synth cinema. A modern refresh of electro traditions that, with it's dreamy sequences, let you dive deep into the night. Following on with "Again & Again", sounds of accentuated percussions and uplifting chords, together with a piano part that blows away even the very last essence of angst and string scapes that were calibrated exactly for a happiness climax. "Do it again" will probably be your unanimous reflex as soon as the last sound disappeared. "The Other Side Of You" evokes via it's electro patterns, cosmic arpeggios and superior synthbass an explicit 80's backflash within this three-track ensemble. But the modern whitenoise dabs, Llewellyns accuracy in sounddetails and his very own intensiveness lift this number high above a nostalgic experiment. 

"The Other Side Of You" will be released on the 8th of September 2017 and will be distributed in cooperation with Muting The Noise. The artwork comes from Niklas Sagebiel.
