The Headless Ghost trilogy out on Tamed Musiq comes to a close with the EP ‘Let’s Fall’. 
Headless Ghost, the analogue and 100% hardware project from Raphael Gros aka Ripperton has already seen him put out 2 acclaimed EP’s ‘Out’ and ‘77’. This third installment easily carries on their reputation with two remixes from fellow Swiss producers Deetron and Agnes. ‘Let’s Fall’ is easy to listen to, but in no way compromising the complexity of the productions, each remixer manages to bring a totally different angle to Headless Ghost’s ‘Let’s Fall’. 
Headless Ghost’s original first track Let’s Fall has an almost mechanic atmosphere certainly fitting with the mode of production. Let’s fall skips through staccato samples and pounding basslines, the track is raw and dark without losing its melody 
Deetron’s remix is a bouncing re-appropriation of Headless Ghost’s original track that maintains many of the same characteristics be it re-produced in a slightly lighter and higher sounding tone. 
Agnes creates a languid rolling version of ‘Let’s Fall’, chopping and changing the placing of the samples in the track she maintains an almost lazy rhythm throughout

This is what a deep summer sounds like, this is what desire sounds like. Igor Dorohov, a Moscow based producer, graces the label with his deep, smooth and captivating track "I Wanna a Woman" featuring the outstanding vocals of Lazarusman from South Africa. After appearing on labels like Acryl, Pesto, and In Deep Records, it is a privilege to welcome him to DeepWit. In this single, Igor embarks on a journey of funky bass lines, indelible refrains and a warmth that can only be found in proper Deep House. The first remix comes from a label favourite, Ivan Garci. His take includes his signature melodic sound combined with a flair of dreamy yet invigorating percussion and piano with only the occasional vocal sample thrown in for good measure. The final track is a remix from label boss Alvaro Hylander. As per usual, this producer of groove has set out to embrace not only the unique vocals but to wrap the track up in his signature sound and sensually carnal deepness. When it comes to making a dance floor full of deep house lovers move, nothing beats the lush sounds of Mr. Hylander. 
I Wanna a Woman is a single aimed at those who love it deep, sensual and delightfully full of wanton grooves which almost every occasion calls for.

Following recent releases for Parisian institution Ed Banger Records, a huge collaboration with rising vocalist Meleka, and his own Battle Weapons free download series tailored for the dancefloor, the UK’s resident genre-blurring boy wonder, Riton aka Henry Smithson, announces a brand new EP for Nest.

Title track ‘I Am The Whisper’ finds Bad Guy Ri Ri in a darker, deeper mode than previous releases, with vaguely sinister spoken word vocals from London-based singer/songwriter Molly Beanland peppering a propulsive beat and acid stabs. “I’m warning you, once we start we’ll never stop,” she threatens. B-side ‘Dance With Moi’ punches hard from the get go, expertly melding techno, electro and house influences in true Riton style.

The dynamic duo of Sandman &amp; Riverside are at it again as the FastFWD label unleashes its eleventh release. Their Play Wit You EP is chock full of sexy house funk with top notch remixes from a couple of house music&rsquo;s influential tastemakers, Ron Trent and DJ Minx. The EP contains three originals featuring vocalist Kymberli Wright, all layered with drumbeats and synthesizers of varying timbres to take the listener on a whimsical journey &hellip; all cuts are bonafide galactic head nodders. First introduced to the house world via the Defected label, Kymberli Wright&rsquo;s soulful vocals gained notice throughout Detroit and beyond through her contribution to all-female jazz band Straight Ahead as well as having worked alongside such noted artists as Mary J. Blige and George Clinton. The first track with Sandman &amp; Riverside is &ldquo;Play Wit You,&rdquo; a Detroit-flavored gem filled with popping drum machine percussion, dueling synth melodies, and Wright&rsquo;s irresistible vocal hooks on top. &ldquo;PopTune&rdquo; is next, offering an enticing throwback to club music of the late &lsquo;80s within some powerful beats. Add Ms. Wright&rsquo;s wonderful vocal lines and this cut takes on the feel of Human League meets Shannon. The third track on the EP is &ldquo;SuperSonic,&rdquo; not to be confused with the classic JJ Fad ditty, though it&rsquo;s not too far off. Sandman &amp; Riverside&rsquo;s funk production backs the swirling, processed, and synthesized vocal phrases and outer space vibes. A pared-down Dub of this appealing track is also available. On the remix tip, the Prescription Records&rsquo; legendary Ron Trent reveals a hypnotic ten minute revision of &ldquo;Play Wit You&rdquo; that merges sensual loops and vocal effects into the soundtrack to a dark dance floor full of bodies in motion. Detroit&rsquo;s DJ Minx (Women On Wax) offers her vocal and instrumental Queen Beats versions which satisfy through booming low end, solid late night rhythms, and building, melodic chords.
