Savion is an enchanting soundscape that blends the icy wind of winter with the warmth of a Stockholm apartment fireplace. Savion is also the soaring poetry of well-chosen words, blending with electro-acoustic instrumentals tinged with an indie pop folk flavor. Their first single Broken Into sets the scene for the album in preparation, with Charlotta Ribbefjord's magnetic voice accompanied by hypnotic backing vocals, deep bass and Anders Pihlgren's gentle guitar chords. The gentleness of the instruments contrasts with the harshness of the lyrics, which depict the pain of a break-up.

Comme une renaissance, le nouvel album du duo français prévu pour le 1er mars 2024 nous plonge dans un univers résolument plus rock. Un retour aux sources aux couleurs rouge & noir, symbole d’une traversée violente dans la noirceur du doute et de la résurrection. Edgär is dead est une déclaration d'amour aux vagues rebelles venues d’Angleterre qui déferlent sur les villes pluvieuses du Nord.

Se baladant entre les Strokes et Artic Monkeys en passant par The Hives, les références musicales du duo Amiénois transparaissent dans ce nouvel album, où la nostalgie sert la satire et où le romantisme qu'on leur connait laisse place à la sueur. Même si Edgär is Dead fait trembler les murs avec ses guitares saturées, la mélodie domine encore et toujours sur chacun des ses titres. Les harmonies vocales, signature remarquable d'Edgär, sont gravées dans le marbre de sa pierre tombale. 

Après deux EPs, un album, plus de 7 millions de streams, une tournée française réussie de plus de 35 dates passant du Main Square Festival aux premières parties de Sting, Alice Cooper, Kyo, etc... Edgär fait un retour fracassant et compte bien s'imposer comme une des références du rock en France.

‘Visions of You’ sees Viktor Westerberg and Carl Leanderson trying to shed the memory of past love to a backdrop of vibrant vocal harmonies and glossy yacht indie grooves.

“‘Visions of You’ is about when that person from your past keeps popping up in your mind. The memory stirs something in you, and suddenly it’s like a phantom of that person is standing right in front of you. Life continues and you think you’ve moved on, but you’re still never really able to escape that question of “What if?” says Viktor Westerberg.

After joining Donny Benét’s “Infinite Desires” tour for sold-out shows throughout Europe and Scandinavia, the duo is now finishing their debut album, scheduled for release this fall on French indie label Riptide Records.
