Somewhere between R&B, hip hop  and Neo Soul lies the union of classical, soulful and rhythmic pop that is Lexxi. And to define this diva’s sound in one word or genre is equivalent to claiming there is only one color in the rainbow. Vocalist, writer, arranger, vocal coach and VP of Plutonium Entertainment, Lexxi is a native Detroiter with strong family roots in Brooklyn, New York. A multi-dimensional performer, she has been performing everything from gospel, blues, hip hop, rock, and opera to smooth jazz, R&B, pop and reggae. Named one of Detroit's top ten vocalists, the soulstress was whisked away to life on the road performing in gospel stage plays before taking it to another level as a national Hollywood finalist for season five of FOX 2's hit show, "American Idol”.  After landing in Atlanta, GA, Lexxi released her debut album in 2012, a sweet plethora of sound, movement, and ardor entitled "Rhythm Lotus". It’s an exotic caravan that weaves you through the tapestry of her intimate feats and trials as a woman and also helped her win the 2013 GA Music Award for Best R&B Female Vocalist. The project took her internationally as six of the songs spun across the globe in 5 different countries. With the release of several follow up singles in 2013 and 2014, Lexxi was honored with a double nomination the 2014 GA Music Awards which included Best Female Vocalist and Best R&B Female Vocalist. Her latest album “In My Skin” was released in 2015 and is a concoction of sensual soul and bold delivery & groove and reflects the celebration of falling in love with oneself so that you may truly fall in love with another. The producer of the project, Tha Ripyr, was nominated for 2015 GA Music Awards Producer of the Year and also helped Lexxi gain her fourth nomination for 2015 GA Music Awards R&B Female Vocalist.  Her lead single "Do Our Thing" from her upcoming 2021 project was released November 2020 and is available now on all streaming platforms.
