RI:SA is an industrial rock project formed by Sami J and Riku S in 2006. During their Mikseri.net-era, the duo produced 7 releases: ‘Reflection EP’ in 2006, ‘Parabolic EP’ and ‘empty album’ in 2007, ‘Reincarnate_VIR’ and ‘heart’ in 2008, ‘The Maggots Are Satisfied… And They Remind of Their Substrates’ in 2010 and ‘time never passed’ in 2011 (the last release with Riku’s contribution.) In 2012, RI:SA released only one song, ‘success pt3’ (on a single titled ‘final’), and announced hiatus.

In 2014, RI:SA released a trailer for an upcoming album titled self-deception on a website titled RI:SA_sys. The trailer hints towards a more rock-influenced sound, moving away from the EBM/aggrotech influences present in their past releases.

He do not believe in politicians, they do not know and can not solve the problems of society, they are not trained for this, our problems with lack of food, the impending shortage of drinking water, problems with diseases, criminalization
at least a good part of them can be solved by a technical person, 
chemical engineer, 
architects, pharmacists, doctors, biologists, designers, to name just a few, and not on a political enviroment, they are there to keep the staus quo, 
so in every election they promise to you, more investment in health, sanitation, safety, labor equality ....this is just the “power game”, you are playing this game if you like it or not!

90% of our problems are made from the economic model and he believe we can resolve almost all of this with tecnology, but first we need grow up and we are dealing with the "intellectual, spiritual, cultural awareness of the time" and the goal of this project is to explore what makes us who we are, how we relate, what we are doing and what we should be doing if we wish to live in a peaceful, humane, sustainable and healthy global society.
