made in an hour, it is the first track i wrote after my classical percussion diploma, following MONTHS and months of no writing. entirely different from the newer stuff i've been working on these past few years but this one reminded me then that i still have stuff to say through music and most importantly, i still have fun making music - something I'd forgot a long time ago at that point. so it seems only fitting that this will be the first track i'm making public in this new journey of sharing more of who i am through a few tracks that have been part of my life during the long, silent years that have passed. I still have a LOT to share and i cant wait to share everything with the world. hope they touch you as much as they have touched me.

Chapter 3: Unity
As the third and final piece of my first musical trilogy, I wanted to produce an emotional, yet wild and energetic track. 
‘Unity’ is inspired by TCS 4’s tremolated sound and Skrillex’s crazy tribal rhythms.
For the breaks of the tune, I wanted to create an ethereal atmosphere, taking advantage of the piano and the gypsy violin. For the drops, I strived for a tremolating synth sound, layered with continuously tremolating vocal chops. One of the main goals I had, while writing the tune, was to immortalize how I felt gazing at the sunset view of Galatsi, Athens, Greece the past Spring. You can have a glimpse of that view on the track’s cover art! 🌄

This is the 3rd and final song of my first EP ‘Unity’. With ‘Everywhere’, ‘In My Head’ and ‘Unity’, I tried to create a collection of tracks that take the listener on a journey. Essentially, a Dionysian journey through electronic music, art and expression. I always believed that, if music is the most Dionysian art, dance music is the most Dionysian musical genre! That is to say, a genre that expresses accurately and vividly ecstasy, passion and a great variety of emotions in a transcultural way. Also, I always loved the fact that dance music pays more attention to the melodies, the sounds and the beats of a track (the musical idea) rather than to the linguistic components (lyrics, linguistic meanings and stories) of a song. In that way, I think, it enables us to escape effectively the rational - linguistic - Apollonian element of ours, as we embark on the listening experience. By the way, that’s why I call my radio show Riscape Reality Radio! 🌠

Riscape Reality Radio Vol. 5 (Winter 2024)
2024 has officially started and it’s Riscape Reality Radio time again. 
The fifth episode of the show is a special 1 - hour long one, featuring some of my favorite house music tunes atm (28 in total), mixed carefully together with newly released Riscape music! This time I tried to highlight some hidden gems and up-and-coming artists (such as Belters Only and Bruno Furlan), without forgetting to pay homage to the established house masters (such as Chris Lake and Oliver Heldens). This episode is UK-inspired, as can be seen on its cover, which is based on a London - Eye photo that I took on a recent trip to the beautiful UK capital. I appreciate the multicultural, diverse, and vibrant character of London, which shaped so many of the musical acts and styles that flourished there and I can say that British artists (like for example Clean Bandit and Disclosure) have always been an inspiration to me.

Riscape is a melodic house music producer from Athens, Greece.
Since 2021, he belongs to the roster of @mysteryfreedom. His first releases with the Dutch label include the summer track 'The Groove Is Coming' and the expressive tune 'Can't Resist You'. In 2023 he released his first EP 'Unity'.
Riscape also hosts the radio show 'Riscape Reality Radio' (@risc-real), in which he blends his favorite dance tunes with his own music.
