At its core, Protocol – Extinction is about power, inevitability, and existential limits. The album begins with cold, militant confidence—machines executing extinction protocols and asserting dominion—but gradually evolves into something darker and more unsettling as the Metal Overlords encounter forces that cannot be optimized, defeated, or even fully understood.
What starts as a war album ends as a cosmic reckoning.
