The prominent NYC brand and party has found a new life. Expressing the essence of Risqué through music, Shahar and Motum present Risqué Records. Kicking things off with some serious house music business, close friends of the label Diego Teran and Pablo Romero join forces for 'Cabellera Blanca' EP, seamlessly blending captivating salsa-inspired melodies with vibrant rhythms to evoke a range of emotions, from nostalgic reflection to sheer joy on the dance floor. The release unfolds between four originals - one in collaboration with Mike Berardi - and brings together fat drums, muggy basslines, vintage vocals, delicious percussive patterns and a good dose of analogue synths, giving the whole EP an exquisite retro-sounding twist.
