After a brief hiatus, Catharsis is back!

During this time we certainly didn't sit still, and we worked on new ideas for the future. First of all, we are excited to present to you our new look for our podcast series.

We kick off with podcast #33 and with one of the driving forces behind Catharsis, @sarame-official!

Behind the decks, Saramé has managed to combine experimental, captivating rhythms with flowing, hypnotic atmospheres. In the meantime she has mastered translating her transformative music message into her own work, operating her analog machines in her studio. 

She teamed up with Toxido Mask to bring their shared, musical vision into a record label, called Modex21.

In this podcast, Saramé takes you through a swirling selection of tracks, showcasing her signature style. Enjoy the journey!

He's a DJ who transcends styles and boundaries with his sets in the smoothest and most elegant way possible thanks to his technical prowess and a feeling for the audience.

For the 35th instalment of CK on Noods Radio we are joined by DJ NOB.

Nob first encountered club music in the late 90's, when a DJ bar was opened downstairs from his place in Yokohama, Japan. That was the Sound Community DUB, which was very well renowned for its high sound quality. 

There, in 2005, Nob and the bar’s crew of DJs and artists founded the Kamome Sound System collective, building their own original sound system.

Since then, he has toured worldwide, delivering a wide range of researched sounds - rarities or classics, from ambient to techno, from dub to disco.  He now finds himself residing in Berlin since 2015. Enjoy!

Corner Klub 35 - DJ Nob - Noods Radio

Esoteric musings, more of a sketch than most, embody our focus of today. A whim, a thought, of what to do next is the mood. Molly has encompassed a moment in time experienced by all. 

As the label says, life after awareness is the beginning of an inner search that finds its expression in a collection of ten soundtracks that produce very profound changes on the emotional states of each of us.
Field recordings and soothing frequencies form the backdrop for dreamlike symphony of strings, woody bass notes and plinking tones. In some tracks, the billowing ambience is free to drift like curls of smoke.

Amsterdam-based DJ and producer PARADIGM X presents his new Heat Intruder EP on PARDON Recordings, the label run by DJ and Producer EYCEE. Known for his genre-fluid approach- blending house, techno, and high-energy breakbeats - PARADIGM X pushes his hybrid club vision forward across this four-track release. 

The title track “Heat Intruder” was inspired by a night at Garage Noord, as PARADIGM X explains: “The idea came after an inspiring club night where DJs were mixed so many kinds of genres - particularly in Bar40. After the club, while biking home and standing on the ferry, I felt inspired to blend those influences myself. Especially after an extended period of solely producing house. 

Since I’d heard a lot of rhythmic influences that 
night, I experimented with adding my own twist to that energy. The nod to the iconic track ‘Partycrasher’ by DJ Chuckie became the cherry on top, tying everything together.” 

The EP showcases three distinct reinterpretations: a club-driven, shape-shifting remix by EYCEE; a bouncy, percussive UK-Funky take from Kaval; and a uniquely rhythmic rework that only Styn can deliver. Together, they push the OG track into fresh territory, each offering its own bold new direction.
