Rabia was a punk rock band outta NYC (circa 2004). 
Street kids posted up on the St. Marks steps, drinking 40's in the parks, crashing in squats. 
They played at almost every venue in the city — CBGBs, ABC No Rio, C-Squat, Casa del Sol, and more. 
Political, fast hardcore, blasting lyrics in both busted Spanish and busted English — all attitude, fueled by the chaos of Bush-era politics and the 2005 wave of organized anarchists fighting back. 
This first demo was recorded reel-to-reel by Mike Dregg in 2005 at Serenity Squat down in the LES. 
They also recorded a cover of State Oppression for a comp around ’06 — not part of the original demo, but added here as a bonus track. 
They dropped two more demo EPs after that. 
The original Rabia was: Jose on vocals, Simon on guitar, Carlos on bass, Ian on drums, and later Dave on guitar.
After Rabia, the members went on to do different things in life — but some stayed raising hell in the NYC scene, forming sick new bands.
