At such an early point in his career fast-rising artist Steve Hope is making waves as one of Austria’s freshest and most exciting exports. Having performed alongside the likes of Chris Liebing, Fatboy Slim, Nastia, and Sven Vath the fresh-faced newcomer has quickly earned a reputation as a first class performer, and his bourgeoning talents in the studio are not going unnoticed either with his latest release snapped up by Kittball Records.

‘Leaving’ initiates with spectral chimes before heartfelt breakdowns make way for a fuzzy bassline, meanwhile poignant backing synths resound in the background adding an element of euphoria. In comparison Teenage Mutants provide a seductive reworking that demonstrates plenty of thump, rounding off the fundamentals of Hope’s whilst generating some serious depth from the Suara favourite.

"Six Years Lost“ will be presented in two parts: The first instalment will include six marvellous original tracks courtesy of our our residents and label artists: DJ Aroma, Iorie, Kuriose Naturale, Madmotormiquel, Mario Aureo & Manuel Moreno and Patryk Molinari. We wanted every track to be special as it’s not only the club anniversary, but also the 2nd birthday of our lovely label! Today we feel so proud to look back on what has already been accomplished and are equally as excited for what the future will bring!

Das Ritter Butzke Jubiläum „Six Years Lost“ verlangt nach einer standesgemäßen Compilation. Gesagt – getan: Hier kommt der erste Teil mit sechs großartigen Originalen! Beigesteuert haben diese einige unserer Residents und Label-Künstler: DJ Aroma, Iorie, Kuriose Naturale, Madmotormiquel, Mario Aureo & Manuel Moreno und Patryk Molinari. Sicher wäre jeder einzelne Track ein eigenes Release wert gewesen, aber was soll der Geiz? Zur Feier des Tages packen wir sie allesamt auf unsere Geburtstags-Compilation und gönnen sie uns alle auf einmal! Schließlich ist das Club-Jubiläum nicht der einzige Grund zum Feiern – gleichzeitig ist es auch der zweite Geburtstag unseres Labels. Somit blickt das Ritter Butzke Studio auch stolz auf sein zweijähriges Bestehen zurück und formt sich weiter und weiter.

We all know Gunnar Stiller from countless kick ass parties in Berlin. He has always been a reliable force as a DJ, especially when playing together with Fabiano. Now he’s taken a turn at the Tech House Crossings towards Upon You and had the right tracks on board to impress our head of A&R, Marco Resmann. He not only demonstrates his talents as a clever wordsmith but also his great musical taste with “Cubicle” and “Open You”, proving that everything that has been said about him is true.

L’Enfant Terrible welcomes Head Nodders for a pair of brilliant new tracks that confirm the label is one of the best out there right now. This was proven by their recent inclusion in the DJ Mag feature of the top labels in Canada right now! This Canadian pair are really making waves with their earliest productions having built up a fine reparation for their residency at Montreal’s famous house Mecca, Stereo nightclub and occasional appearances at Piknic Electronik. 

They impress here with opener Sass, which is filled with warped basslines and alluring vocals. It’s an atmospheric, richly detailed track with a real sense of purpose and is perfect for heady, intimate crowds. 

On the flip, Pazass is a perfectly dreamy tune with knocking wooden hits and more colourful synths that move about with real fluidity. The infectious groove is one that really gets under your skin and shows this pair have plenty of great ideas and more than enough skills to pull them off.'
