For Ritter Butzke's seventh anniversary we wanted to put together a proper collaboration release with 3 original tracks from our key artists. The first is a special duo collaboration between Kotelett & Zadak and Kuriose Naturale – „Klaus Your Eyes“ is an energetic track with a deep undertone due to its classy chord melody. Next are Manuel Moreno and Patryk Molinari whose track „What It Is“ perfectly carries both artists thumbprints. In short: Perfect grooves, a well-conceived arrangement and an emotional breakdown. Last but not least we have our label head Mario Aureo and youngster Iorie, who put their heads together in the studio to create a dark and spooky track with a catchy synth melody. We are very proud of the outcome and hope you like them as much as we do!

Antonio Olivieri presents a sort of tightness and sheen quality in his tracks that grade him a highly skilled and polished producer. Antonio helms a knack of finding inescapable mood and desire in this 3 track EP, ‘Rudiments’: the latest from Steyoyoke, and arguable it’s most exciting output yet.

The EP combines elements of repose and melodic tranquility with dance worthy tracks.  As the title suggests rudimentary components provide the basis, in a way that distinguishes each track to its own dance floor setting.

The title track kicks off in true thumping fashion! The bassline sheds hints of acid, while the hovering synth line rounds the track into a driving dance floor killer! Enticing old school vocal cuts hang loosely over the arrangement.

The somewhat eccentric notions carried in ‘Tiny Nut’, through his trickling hi-hats and descending basslines, creates a wonderful deep house exoticism, that you may find easy to lose yourself in. Somewhere in the middle we find a jacking vocal cut bringing us from under the trees for a brief moment in time. Earthy sounds make this track warm and enticing, but don’t assume it’s not dance floor material, because it is! 

Swirling synth pads and a heavy kick lead the closing track ‘Minna’: a deep expedition in to acid ridden basslines and hypnotic percussions. In the breakdown, distant Spanish vocals help create this mysterious setting.

Antonio Olivieri has provided 3 intensely satisfying tracks for Steyoyoke’s 6th release.  ‘Rudiments’ is an EP rich in mood and atmosphere, and one that is likely to entice any dry dance floor!

NastyFunk's 8th release sees more fresh talent recruited to their ranks, in the guise of Spain's Yeray Herera. The "Get Back" EP is a rare gem, as with each of it's 2 original mixes and 2 remixes, every track has the individual power to fill any dancefloor in it's own unique way. The title track for example, Get Back, is a hugely pumping groover, and a true testament to the theory that simplicity rules in deep house music. The catchy bassline and mega-cool sporadic vocals ensure this is a cool bomb for any occasion. In contrast, the B Side, No More, keeps the feel of the release but changes the mood via an uplifting atmospheric number filled with feelgood reverberations and soft grooves, all the while hinting at an oldschool vibe, truly reminiscent of a bygone genre. 

The 2 remixes on the release are vastly different in what they achieve; Erik Christiansen's take on proceedings adds some organic touches and turns up the funkometer to 10 in his version of the original, working with the bass, vocals and percussion to create a happy, carefree vibe… whilst Toucan pulls out the stops with a superlative disco track, in a wickedly creative edit of the original, bringing a solid groove and poetic touches, coupled with an enormous bass sound, and a well polished finish. 

Get your hands on this one and you won't regret it.
