Erasure - Stop - Justin Strauss Unreleased Mix - 1988

From the sleeve notes on Erasure Ultra Rare Trax Vol.2: "Denied a Number 1 placing Xmas '89' by Cliff Richards (sic) 'Mistletoe and Wine'. Say no more!!! Excerpt mixed by those Art of Noise People."

It is basically an old-school "Cut & Paste" remix of the extended mix, with a few overdubs. I don't know when this was originally released (probably shortly after the original song in 1989?), but it came to my attention sometime in the mid-nineties.

I have no idea if the Art Of Noise had anything to do with this unofficial remix (I kind of doubt it), but that was the claim!

Erasure vs Kylie - All The Lovers Need A Little Respect (Steve's Mix)

Erasure - Spiralling: This is my remix of a song from Erasure's second album The Circus. My mix makes use of the midi file arrangement compiled by Mark 'Rasure' Robotham and available from his website at http://www.rasure.co.uk.
The midi file and my mix are based upon the live piano version Erasure performed on the Innocents video. The additional bass-line, minimal percussion and extra 'tinkles' are my own work, and I've also added a middle-section based on the part played on a kazoo during the acoustic encore performance at other Innocents concerts (no official recording is available).
