Blending insightful spirituality with sugary pop, ‘Looking Glass’ is an emotionally vulnerable, thought-provoking track.  It was written in an effort to promote deeper understanding between people, with urgent, poetic language set to a hypnotic electronic production.  Although it ruminates on heavy existential issues, ‘Looking Glass’ is an uplifting and cathartic production, emphasizing the things that bring us together.

River Iris’s intricately crafted indie-pop draws from her eclectic tastes and international upbringing to create a sound that transcends cultures and genres. After studying Fine Arts at UC Berkley, she spent her formative years backpacking across Europe and Asia, developing her confessional storytelling style while learning to appreciate humanity's interconnectedness. She went on to settle in Phoenix with her husband, where she continues to evolve as both an artist and individual, writing songs that are empathic, clever, and bursting with life.
