The High Nines are an alternative indie rock band from the North West of England drawing influences from the likes of The Verve, The Music, and The Stone Roses. 
‘Walrus Bar’, released May 2025, got to number 6 in the iTunes Alternative Chart. 

Their self-titled debut album, self-funded and independently recorded, produced and mixed, was released October 2025.

I enjoy combining different elements to express a state of bliss, a particular emotion that I feel in music.  I find that electronic music, tech sounds in combination with organic elements helps me convey that message the best.  I lose myself in deep house rhythms of all types and find myself with a constant need to share my feelings as best I can with others, by combining and arranging them to progress and dive deeper into those emotions.

I have been arranging music in a variety of styles for most of my life and have found that house music, in its infinite forms, fills all the gaps.

Zack Knight, born in Grimsby, north England to a Punjabi Mother and Afro-asian Father. British Singer/Producer & Economics Graduate first started out in music writing for household names. His earlier influences were Usher, Boyz II Men and the Michael Jackson. Zack Knight credits his father as his inspiration behind pursuing a career in music.  Zack Knight is constantly surrounded by a multitude of different music. He believes his sound is best described as “...R&B infused style with a crossover sound”. This crossover sound includes Bollywood and Arabian influenced music.  Knight also one of the very few singer-songwriters who produces, composes and engineers their own music.
