A Chicago local, NO SL33P has an immense drive and passion for music. Although getting his start performing in Phoenix and LA, his electronic music journey began in his younger years while first listening to Daft Punk’s “Discovery” album on the way to and from school. Not allowing himself to be confined by a purist mentality, his musical taste is borderless and it shows in his production and DJ styles. With a growing list of notable gigs and supporting sets for proper global touring artists and many of Chicago’s best clubs, he’s been able to put some roots down in this city and take things into a new chapter of music production with this debut release of his.
Phil Rizzo is a musician, through and through. Growing up in the Midwest with an affinity for rock, he dove into blues and rock as he went through high school and went on to become a self-taught guitarist. On the east coast, he traveled with genre bending bands playing a number of instruments and he eventually moving to Chicago to pursue his passion for working in music production behind the scenes. Marketing director, audio engineer, club talent buyer, DJ, and vocalist; Phil has made an impressive mark on the scene here and continues to perform -- either with a guitar & mic, or behind the decks.
