Big thank you to the crew for booking us! The production and energy was absolutely incredible. Tom Baker, Jedidiah and I had flown from Canada where we played at Groove & Bass Festival 36 hours before our sets at Fusion, arriving in Germany just a few hours before our performance times. We were knackered, but riding the adrenaline high - we nailed it.

Bio...
Alex Nott, aka "Rabbits on Saturn", is an underground techno artist who hails
from the industrial waste land of South London.
From a young age, he was heavily influenced by emerging rave styles which
lead to a pursuit of hoarding wide range of genres and by the time he was 16,
he had an extensive vinyl collection for his home studio.
Rabbits has played at events Puzzle project, Cohesion, Zoology, Smash
Techno and Magnetix alongside London's finest DJs including Chris Liberator
and D.A.V.E the Drummer following a 2 year residency at the infamous 414
club in Brixton.
After making the move to Brisbane, Australia, he started organising parties
under the names BNE Techno, Escalation and Sonic Twitch.
In addition to this, he has also landed iconic guest slots and residencies on
Darker Wave radio, Fever FM (New Zealand), 107.5 Metro FM (Gold Coast)
and Soulfinity radio online
Through an articulate mixing style, partygoers can experience an array of
twisted, spacey techno and outrageous on-stage antics.
The set up also includes live effects looping and vocal performances, giving
each set a unique vibe.
With releases on Frisson Records, la Casa Roja (UK), Psy Cake Recordings
Domino FX, Space Cake Recordings and Sorta Kinda Music, his discography is
constantly expanding to new areas.
With so much range on offer, it's impossible to know exactly what to expect
from a live performance, but from a raver to a Dj, an audio engineer, mc

Mirus Bio

Mirus is a DJ and producer who started his journey in electronic music in Melbourne in the early 2000’s. This was a time when underground warehouse raves were going strong. His early influences were industry legends such as John Digweed ,Sasha, Carl Cox and Phil Smart.

Enjoying the deeper side, Mirus’s style is typically patient and journey based. He has a passion for deep techno but also enjoys diving into prog & psy. 

Now living on the Northern Rivers, Mirus has recently set up a music studio on a bus in the forrest and is focusing on producing some new tasty tunes for release over the coming months. 

Mirus is actively involved with Lab Leaked Beats in Murwillumbah and is playing at Initiation festival over the new year.

Between those acid vibes and tribal rhythms, beating furiously always where it’s darkest before light, sit those chunky tones, pounding deep into the recesses of your primal brain. It’s from these shadows where you might find Mike Clark (a.k.a LEKTRK), a softly spoken London born, Melbourne bred techno producer and DJ who’s been consistently delivering some of the heaviest and darkest of selections for some time now. He’s not afraid to pay respect and homage to techno of the 2000s era, whilst managing to bring new dark and psy elements to his work. His meticulously crafted productions will occasionally send any-a-Berlin clubber from yester-year into a warm wave of nostalgia. 

LEKTRK has an ever-evolving style that can be heard in his music creation, but one fact remains, it is always relevant to the times. Priding himself on constantly pushing the boundaries and exploring the unknown, whilst also having a remarkable knack for replicating sounds that have been popular for generations. His releases tend to plot tricky yet coherent lines between techno, slick dark/bush tech, and progressive house.

The first hit for LEKTRK was in 2018 with Tech House track “Storm” gaining huge attention locally in his hometown of Melbourne and has made a splash internationally, finding favour in many of the world’s hottest clubs and reputable online radio. Since then, LEKTRK has had a string of Techno and Tech releases and notable collaborations, finding favour with clubs and DJ’s alike.

LEKTRK’s 2022 release on the mighty Senso imprint, “Bump”– is a chuggy club banger which gained a lot of attention on the international scene. This track has a pulsating baseline, an infectious thud guaranteed to cause your toes to tap and head to nod. This baseline is complemented with an assortment of grinding acid notes that are sprinkled throughout the track, laid in such a way as to give it a futuristic air. It’s complex and dark enough to keep its edges sharp, yet versatile and groovy enough that it will get a run on any good Techno playlist. 

LETKRK has appeared on a growing list of top techno labels such as Senso, Shadow Wulf, Subios, Techgnogsis, AMW Black, Frisson, Mavic Music, and more. He has regularly headlined at local club, My Aeon for events such as ‘Techno Time’.

Mike also hosts a monthly radio show on Kiss FM Australia called ‘The LEKTRONIC Show’, showcasing and featuring new music and focusing on his favourite local/international artists and labels, having had notable guests of current and rising talent from around the globe.

A rainforest sanctuary. A phenomenon neglected from every atlas.

Colours, shapes, creatures native to the sunburnt bushlands, fill the labyrinth. A truly distinctive display of vibrance. The passageway walls are penetrated by beams of light that set aglow greens and golds, purples and blue hues. Darkness occupies the leafy edge and ominous corners, shrouding the maze in thrill.

The journey takes many forms. The destination unbeknownst to those within the labyrinth, but the destination remains unimportant.

⇸ About 'Labyrinth, Lost In Techno 02' ⇷

Bassic Records’ second instalment of ‘Labyrinth, Lost In Techno’ showcases the definitive and colourful styles of Australian electronic dance music, ever growing in popularity. Influenced heavily by nature and the unique dance events that take place in the great outdoors, the sound takes form as progressive and psychedelic jaunts of techno and house, driven by emotive storytelling.

The 14 track compilation comprises of label stalwarts Doppel, Gabriel Moraes, Ark-E-Tech, Rainbird, TAYA, EEEMUS, John Baptiste, Käse Kochen, Monotreme, Victor Y, and collaborators Nanoplex (UK), Waveback (IT), Mud (IT/DE), Spintribe (RU), Diamandy (SE), Sandokan (IL), Charles Oliver, Biomass, Mecca, Samwise and Yokobus.

Sitting at an average of 125bpm, the compilation reaches a beefy 127 with ‘Spurge’ by Gabriel Moraes and is rounded off with the deep intricate closer, Mud’s ‘Mistakes’ at a neat 113bpm. Exploring an array of unique sub genres, some tracks can be identified as progressive techno, progressive house, psytech, deep techno, others are difficult to categorise into anything.

We call it ‘bush techno’.

Rj Banks is a music producer and DJ based in Queensland, originally from Melbourne, where his love for sound took root while working behind the scenes at a production company. His debut solo track, State of Mind, hit over 40,000 plays on SoundCloud, connecting with listeners across the globe and proving that Rj isn’t just making noise—he’s making waves.
