Notorious, also known as Jessy Rai, is a multi-genre DJ that has created a resounding name for himself. Notorious has a versatile skill set and incorporates all styles of music in his mixing, from bhangra, hip hop, house, reggaeton & afrobeats. Having acquired his skills from working closely with well-known DJs in the lower mainland, Notorious established himself as an independent DJ in 2017. Since then, he has become a household name for weddings and receptions. Notorious has become popular for his unmatched party turn-ups and high energy levels. His presence on the mic, is widely announced by the positive vibes at any party he performs at. 

A naturally diverse individual – Notorious has earlier served in the military between the years of 2015 – 2018. Even with his dedication to service, he still found the time to harness his skill as a DJ. His work in the community has been recognized in the past by the City of Surrey among the "Top 25 under 25". Additionally, he has received multiple awards for his outstanding community service. 

Notorious’s relentless talent is attributed to his passion for music and his drive to showcase his unique style. In addition to all of his individual efforts in the game, his phenomenal character heavily contributes to his popularity and success. Notorious’ distinctive style and versatility to adapt to any audience makes him the ideal DJ in the current music spotlight.

Jas, is a self taught emerging Canadian artist and producer. Jas developed an interest in music early on in his childhood but after the untimely passing of his brother much of Jas’ life is shrouded in mystery. Jas recently resurfaced in early 2019 releasing his debut single “Night Time” independently. Dedication to the honest truth is the foundation of Jas’ artistic identity. Unabashedly introspective and keenly observant of his emotions, Jas spent his early adolescence honing the sure-footed, narrative-led lyrics that have become synonymous with his signature R&B Crooner style. Jas’ 2019 debut album, “November”, which featured songs such as, “Rewind,” “Lava,” and the extremely personal “November 24th.” The sprawling musical opus, which highlights moments in the young artists personal relationship history spanning the past few years, is held together by the singer’s innate talent for uniting genres into new, hybrid soundscapes. November is defined by a revisitation of the “Trapsoul” style of Bryson Tiller, a blend of Hip-Hop and R&amp;B conventions; Jas embraces the world of knocking 808s and smooth melodies alongside the polished gloss of his trademark croon. He is able to recall his own story with remarkable clarity and translate its impact on his present with pragmatism, verity and true emotion. We are seeing Jas for what he is—a young man growing, progressing and learning in an ever-changing world that can be capricious and cruel, but also beautiful and filled with warmth.

With his extensive experience of professionally DJing for a decade, Apogee (also known as Gurinder Brar), continues to make his mark in our Lower Mainland’s big phat Indian wedding industry. 

As a 90s kid born in Punjab, one of his childhood hobbies was to collect cassettes from his favorite artists and would often take control over the playlist during his family road trips. Moving to Canada, he remained tied to his roots by joining a competitive Bhangra team, which also allowed him to create custom mixes for their performances showcased all over North America. With Apogee behind the decks at your celebratory night, you’ll have the best of both worlds!

Apogee’s depth and knowledge in music genres is like no other. His live mixes consist of Bhangra, Hindi, Hip-Hop, Electronic and his all time favorite – all things Old School! While growing up submerged in 90s music, the vibe he brings to any dancefloor and performance is nothing less than nostalgic. Apogee’s fanbase and support continues to grow as he promises to cater to a diverse range of audiences around the globe.
