One of 1Forty’s most consistent bass contributors since the Label arm launched in June 2017 - NuBass, is joined by his right hander for his debut 1Forty Release - Deppz. The two have combined to conjure up a thought provoking Bass House track to breakdown any dance.

Since the London based producers last release on the Label ‘Meltdown’ and the VIP that followed which gathered support from TQD on BBC Radio 1 amongst others, NuBass has been making substantial noise in the scene with a number of high profile releases and shows. US based Label Night Bass run by AC Slater, welcomed both producers as part of their Freshman Series in August 2018. This track along with his Crucast Release and a string of self released material has lead him to gather consistent support from the likes of Holy Goof, Skepsis, Wax Motif and My Nu Leng.

After supporting both Macky Gee and Sammy Virji on their tours around the country as well as a number of his own headline billings at the likes of Stealth (Nottingham) & Tank (Sheffield) he’s ending 2018 with his debut at Warehouse Project as Crucast takeover Manchester on Boxing Day.

Step forward.. Deppz. The 20 year old from Producer from Chelmsford, Essex. His rise through the scene looks very similar to NuBass’s as their relationship has helped them climb through the scene both together through their tracks, whilst maintaining separate aliases and productions.

So.. how did these two meet? A mutual friend is the answer. Shortly after a b2b came around in a small venue in London which then lead to them deciding to make a couple of tracks together. In October last year Deppz sent NuBass an idea which was turned around in a couple of hours. That tune was ‘Doomsday’ which set the bar at the time of releasing for both of them, and since then each track the individual producers make as a duo raises the bar once again.
