“Tommy Got The Gun” is a lo-fi home recording and the conceptual seed of my project.
It’s not about what it means to me — it’s about what you find inside it.

Yesterday Tommy loved her,
He bought a heart,
He was about to love.
She laid down on him,
His new heart was broken,
And the smile was his mask.

Tommy got the gun,
And they were afraid of him,
The shadow got bigger,
The trigger was following the way up.
Tommy woke up,
But he ended up
Fast as a trigger sound.

It said, "I'm here for you,"
But Marie woke up,
The fever nightmare was bad.
But she hates him inside,
And she wanted to end this.
So she got close to him,
Until she saw his face,
That smile returned in him.

It was looking up,
Looking for Marie's face,
Now she must obey.
He took her home.
And the corner was alone.
He aimed at her and painted the canvas red.

He dropped his mask,
Then the gun followed the lead up.
But he's lying to himself,
The canvas was spoiled,
He will use his own red.
He's waiting for Marie again.
