Based on my Peter Pan retelling: A Land of Never After. Elvira Teach, quartermaster of the Jolly Serpent, is a cunning and conniving woman who also bears the nickname 'serpent.' So legendary are her deeds that she often sings the song written for her, lulling and calming the men with her gentle voice.

First completed piece of 2021! One of several songs Alex plays on her lute in Bloodlust. She doesn't recall the words until Rebecca starts singing them, and the two then put on an impromptu performance in a quiet moment on a stressful night.

There is a version for solo lute/guitar: this is the version with lyrics.

I like hiking in the mountains with my wife. And I like listening to music.
