Babel Music XP, pour la 2ème édition en grand format de sa nouvelle vie, ouvre des portes qui donnent sur le Japon, la Colombie, la Bretagne, l'Arménie, l'Iran, le Kurdistan, le Canada et 17 autres pays représentés ici cette année à Marseille. Et en plus de les programmer sur les 3 scènes du Dock des Suds, le festival les présente à 2000 professionnel·les venu·e·s de toute la planète. Parce que jusqu'à preuve du contraire, à l'heure des algorithmes et de l'intelligence artificielle, ce sont encore des êtres humains qui organisent des tournées. Babel, connecting people, comme dirait l'autre !

Originally recorded by Florent in 1984 using two cassette decks — three layers of synth, bass, and guitar looping against time.
Barbonus remastered and expanded the fragment into a full instrumental piece, keeping its analog pulse alive.

A high-energy, C minor instrumental with a driving rhythm section and bright synth leads — the energy behind BC25’s origins.
This is where the noise began to sing.

However you know Teniente Castillo, you will only know good things. Whether you know the producer of slow and deliberate chunky techno, the label boss of Play Pal music, or whether you just know him as Fernando Pineda, the all round good guy! His Turn for the first compilation from the Sinchi Collective is as you would expect from such a talent, with live instrumentation, snappy snares and a bassline through dancefloors like a chainsaw.
The Sinchi Collective have long been synonymous with quality dance music while putting their name and their efforts to worthwhile causes, being at the helm of a long running podcast where they showcase their friends and most recently setting up a label of the same name. 
As well as turning in a mix which is out imminently, Mr Castillo has kindly contributed to the first Sinchi compilation, and it truly is firing on all cylinders, living up to the name ‘Altered States’. 
Make no mistake, the Ombra, Play Pal and Relish producer makes it clear that it is all about the music, but at the same time, It’s clear that Personality goes a long way.
