Slam finish off a massive 2022 with their latest release, the Mover EP. Constantly progressing their sound, the duo have crafted 4 heavy duty tracks that straddle varying degrees of techno and once again displays their commitment to their sound

The pace is set with Mover opening the EP with thundering, unrelenting drums that pause briefly only to unleash another layer of fury with buzzing rave stabs. The driving Signal is up next featuring that classic Slam groove against a backdrop of punishing, looped out beats. Obsidian pushes a more twisted and hypnotic sound with trippy synths layering up against sturdy percussion once again. Grit closes out the EP with crisply produced percussion rattling across alarm like synths delivering on proper peak time madness.

The pace is set with Mover opening the EP with thundering, unrelenting drums that pause briefly only to unleash another layer of fury with buzzing rave stabs. The Crossing opens with a driving, tunnelling vibe, powered with jarring, syncopated synths and coarse atmospherics. With more emphasis on rhythmic elements, Covert still hits hard and keeps this pressure up. Depot opens up into more hypnotic sounds as reverberated synths give space and depth throughout the track. Disorder closes out with a dark, twisted side to it as detuned synths lead the charge on this as cutting percussive elements give the track pace.

Esta segunda entrega de Baby Series, pretende reflejar el sonido de una comunidad, el sonido de varias generaciones, pero sobre todo expresar el retro-futurismo que se percibe de Valencia. Un sonido que nunca muere y una energía que solo ese lugar tan especial puede transmitir.

Para esta ocasión Raffnal y Javato, son los encargados de entregar las armas para el baile. "Esta Mierda" y "Superficie" son dos Cortes muy personales, difíciles de comparar con cualquier otra idea. "Gate" y "Reanimator", son la versión más alocada de estos dos genios valencianos. 4 bombas atómicas, para destruir cualquier pista de baile... Enjoy!

RAFFNAL

Raffnal es la versión más canalla de Rafael Badal Momparler, un DJ ,músico y productor residente en Valencia, considerado muy afín a las raíces valencianas de la Ruta del Bakalao.

En su formato musical original quiere exponer una fusión entre la época de los (80´90) y la música techno actual. Activo en la escena Techno está creando un estilo propio, creativo, y muy enérgico para sus oyentes.

JAVATO

Javi Ribes aka Javato, empezó a cacharrear con sintetizadores, cuando compró su primera caja de ritmos y desde entonces se enamoró de la música electrónica. Lo que más le cautivo fueron los sonidos de la ruta del bacalao en la Valencia de los 80’s, de los que, ha bebido desde que era un niño.

La contundencia del New beat o la elegancia del electro… son influencias que intenta reflejar en su proyecto "Javato". Él siempre ha estado tocando en bandas de punk y diferentes estilos, cosa que también ha influido en su sonido.

Produce todo con sintetizadores analógicos, su música es una mezcla de sonidos sintetizados clásicos provenientes del new beat, electro y el techno europeo de principios de los 90’s.

Prophecy, whose previous releases were received to great acclaim, returns with a new EP produced by the label head honcho Elias the Prophet. This time treating you to four original tracks and a stunning remix by Tensal:

"Creatures" could be described as a walk through the forest, but it's getting dark and thousands of eyes are watching you as you get lost in the thick undergrowth. As panic sets in and dark thoughts take over, you start running towards an uncertain fate!

On his remix of "Creatures", the one and only Tensal has masterfully blended powerful beats, eerie voices and pads from the original with his own frenetic synths, creating absolute chaos and madness!

More uneasy vibes with "Exorcism", as supernatural synth layers and Gregorian chants ride above hard percussion, if Satanists listened to techno (some probably do), this would be their jam!

The Keeper is an ideal dj tool, with its broken beat and ferocious FX it creates an unstoppable momentum that will destroy dance floors!

As a finishing touch, "Crime scene" paints a bleak picture of a dystopian future, warping FX and synths to infinity and beyond.

This is the first release where the artist shares the billing with Paula Cazenave, the owner of Combine Audio. 

His original production, Black Belt is polyrhythmic and utterly hypnotising. Clattering synths intertwine atop a solid percussive foundation, grooving naturally with the undulating rhythms.
